VERY strong, dark cocoa, malty-goodness! This is a solid tea! There is a touch of smooth – much like honey – playing around on the tongue – while I sip.
The 2nd infusion isn’t as brash. I do like both infusions, however. I like the sturdiness of the first one but I like the toned-down cocoa notes paired with a sweeter honey or ‘mead’ taste in the 2nd infusion as well!
This is a mighty-fine tea!
This is very nice!
smooth and soothing
Citrusy and nutty. A very nicely done Bi Luo Chun. YUM
Today got away from me…updating websites and blogs and such.

Today is a sad day.
I have officially logged this as a SIP DOWN.
I love this one! Upping rating…don’t know what you ‘got’ till it’s gone…sigh…
I did a double shot of this because I think it’s a bit weak if I don’t do it that way and it was a bit better. It’s still not my favorite 1st Flush nor is it even my favorite tea that Teatulia offers – but it’s better once you play with it a bit. It’s medium strength with a bit of brashness. Would make a good base for gentle flavors, I bet!
Oh! Yummy Mandarin! With floral notes – more notably – Jasmine. Not overly Jasmine – but a nice level of Jasmine! Yes! It’s a nice one! The mandarin definitely kicks it up a notch for me, tho!
This is absolutely delicious! YUMMERS!
The black tea base is perfect – a nice medium strength – but dessert-like in it’s own right. The vanilla is top notch flavoring! Sweet and candy-like almost! The hint of cardamom is a delightful touch and I wouldn’t change the ratio! It’s just enough!
The almonds are sweet, nutty, and near-crusty especially when sniffing the aroma of it all.
I think I will have another cup!
What a treat!
The papaya bits are subtle and nicely done. The Sencha and jasmine shine, here. It’s a bit sweet and nice hot or cold – but I like cold even better!
Ahhhhh! Smooth and somewhat creamy! Naturally semi-citrusy! Cooked Greens! This is delicious! Completely fresh! The end-sip on to the after taste is a bit drier but pleasant! Lovely!
This is another tea from Tea For All Reasons – their Downton Abby Collection. I’m really enjoying these! Now I must start watching the series!
This has that bergamot in an earl grey but not the fragrance of an EG or the stereotypical PUNCH. It has a bit of juicy ‘pom’. The product description says TART – I wouldn’t call it “TART” per say but a neat offering of flavor. I usually only describe teas with hibiscus in them as TART and this doesn’t have it in it – thank GOODNESS!
There are floral notes – but more sweet than bitter or perfumy type florals. There is also a wonderful creaminess in this that is surprising AND much appreciated.
This is a very nice flavor combo – ratios AWESOMELY done – and I give it two thumbs up!
