backlogging…

Light and tasty just not very flavorful and can’t pick out many if any individual flavors…but not bad.

It seems there was enough left for 1 and a half attempts left so I am over steeping the amount but not the length. After today’s steep this smells a lot like ‘green roughage’ as my mother used to say while talking about Spinach, Kale, and other dark leafy greens. Over the past year I have become quite fond of Coconut Pouchongs and this one is no exception.

Attack of the killer Apricots!!!!!! The Aroma – Upon opening the tin…that is! It evens out quite nicely.

Understeeped just for kicks and to taste the difference. It’s very almond-E and typical Rooibos.

Well, I didn’t cheat…I was tempted but I didn’t! I said I was going to do the ole’ random pick all day long and this one popped up…I really wasn’t in the mood for it but a promise is a promise, right!? I like this tea…but am interested to see how the rest of the random selection will go today…hum…

Randomly chose this tea…I think I will be doing that a lot today…regardless of what it is I am going to try and drink it…so this should be interesting…lol…

This is a little lighter in color that my previous attempts eventho I steeped just as long and roughly the same amount – but NOT to worry – the taste is still great – actually, it might be even better! Whatever I did this morning…I must have done it right!

Back to Black Flavored Teas – just trying to get thru the afternoon, ya know!?

I think I finally nailed the amount and length on this. I was VERY happy with this attempt. So-much-so that I am raising my rating for it a tad.

Smooth. Nice. Peaceful!

I hand picked which leaves I steeped today and it was a little bit more tart than I like…will stick to the ‘blend’ from now on…still a good cup tho!

Yummy to my tummy. Nice and warm!

After finding I wasn’t really in the mood for Black or Black Flavored Tea today I sipped on this. I think I will be more into the Greens and Whites today!

This is super strong this morning…must have oversteeped and didn’t realize it. Don’t really think I am craving black tea much today…will switch after this cup. I do normally like this tea, but, today I must want something else :)

After today’s infusion-worth I will only have enough for 1 more. I like this tea…might order again down the road but not right away as there are stones left unturned in the world of tea…or should I say leaves unturned!? Either way…on to the next!

A little bitter today…not sure why…but not overly so it’s still pretty good.

Infusions 3 and 4 success but now I am in the mood for something different…so I will move on…

I probably could have had 2 attempts understeeped/loose leaf amount but I made it stronger today to finish the sample. So…it’s REALLY strong. Will do multiple infusions to test to day and report back.

Sweet but floral and a little white tea tartness today…still nice!

Okay…so it’s not-so-hot with multiple infusions…I think I will stop at 2. Still yummy just quite a bit weaker.

I’m finishing up my sample today…boo hiss…parting it such sweet sorrow! Anyhow…I like this tea…it’s good! I am going to see how many more infusions I can get out of this last bit tho!

Did the old eenie-meanie-myknee-moe game and pointed to this one…It’s just going to be one of those days for the rest of the day I think…should make it interesting…lol…
