Backlogging
Thought I would give it another try…STILL not feeling it…YUCK!
Running low on this. On my 3rd Cup today. 3rd Steep. Still lovely!
Backlogging – 2 cups yesterday – LOVED it!
Backlogging – LOVE IT!
This is why Fruity Herbal Tea freak me out…BLAH! Once sip…and sour fish face later and the cup goes down the drain…
Received this from a friend in Canada. As I opened the bag I was overwhelmed with Caramel scent. As it steeped you could smell more of the orange. The Rooibos has a nice sweetness to it and it all seems to even out for a fairly decent bagged flavored Rooibos. I was fairly shocked about this purely based on the first Caramel Whiff I got as I open the bag…I was relieved!
First cup of the day…backlogging
both hot and iced – also nice.
backlogging…both hot and iced today…very nice
Considering my stash of this tea is REALLY old – it’s can’t be the freshest even by storing in a tin…yeah…it’s OLD. BUT…considering it’s that old…it’s still fairly good while sipping…it’s just I’m not fond of the aftertaste and I think that is why I have yet to run out of this tea.
More woody than peachy today…still nice for a change tho!
Started my day with this one – not sure why. Regardless it’s still an interesting cuppa. I also enjoy this because there isn’t a funky aftertaste like some have. I’m getting low on this one…but not quite out yet
Adagio’s Earl Grey Bravo (Pale – previously steeped several times) paired with a already steeped Valentine’s…just for shits and giggles…and ICED. It sounds strange but it was actually quite good.
Se Chung Special Oolong paired with Moroccan Mint from Republic of Tea – steeped APPROX 3 mins. Not Bad…might try more Mint next time tho…
Wanted to start with the Flavored Black but tastes switched for my 2nd Cup of the day. This was extreme in aroma today but not as much in vanilla flavor…it was almost smoky…maybe I steeped too many leaves…still good tho…just different.
Wanted a Flavored Black to start my day…this was it!!! Oversteeped…still great!
I like this more and more each time I have it! NICE!
I’m getting a little low on my stash but I will enjoy it while I have it.
Backlogging…nice wind down cuppa.
Looking for something with a little bit of mint…and bagged…just feeling lazy. Haven’t had this in a while so I thought I would revisit it. It did the job.
After this cuppa I’m officially out of this tea from my stash…bummer…it was good while it lasted. Altho I have read some other reviews here about the “cigarette” type taste…I have noticed this with my last cup – I oversteeped AND added more than the suggested amount of loose leaf to the steep…I can see how some may pick up the smoky tones…I do believe, or at least with my latest experience, the cigarette-type taste (or aftertaste) may come from steeping too much – too long…suggestion – steep less for a shorter time – as I haven’t noticed that until now…might be more pleasant for you. I did, however, enjoy my overall time with this tea and will, again, revisit it, someday…
This seemed to take for ever to steep today…not sure why…tasted the Honeybush but not much else.
