Midday Matcha Break! LOVE LOVE LOVE this! YUM! Might have to increase rating! See other notes!
This is a nice stand-alone black tea. Medium Strength, Medium flavors of aromatic floral and bergamot – maybe a bit on the lighter side of medium, actually. But regardless this is a really gratifying cup!
Mango, Peach, Lavender, Rose, and Black Tea flavors make up this flavor combo and all are present and accounted for. This is very well balanced and quite impressive. It’s sweet, floral, rich, smooth, while still allowing you to taste the black tea base at a medium-strength level of intensity. I like this! It’s a goodie!
More Green tea than Blueberry but that’s ok with me. The Blueberry is alright, here, just be sure not to over infuse because it can/will get bitter. It’s pretty good both hot and cold. It has slight floral notes underneath, too!
It’s pretty good – not my favorite Blueberry Green but satisfying and I would drink it again!
This is tasty! The Chocolate and the Mint and the Rooibos Combo is darned near 1/3,1/3,1/3 and meshes really well with each other. It’s similar to a few other Chocolate Mint Rooibos’s I have had from other companies so it doesn’t really stand out apart from them but it’s darn tasty, too!
While this isn’t my favorite Darjeeling I am going to rate it higher than most on this specific tea. I don’t think it’s that bad. It’s not overly memorable but it’s tasty. It’s a nice standard Darjeeling to have in your stash to share with anyone anytime of day! It’s slightly crusty and slightly misty with a bit of satisfying astringency. A fair Darjeeling!
First I would like to say that I didn’t know this was decaf until I was ready to log it! So…in a way…that is good…because I thought it tasted a little ‘weak’ but now it makes sense. For a Decaf – it’s tasty – gentle – pretty good. BUT…why the hell did I start my day with a DECAF! Yeah…it’s Friday! Woot! WOW!
This is fairly astringent but the taste doesn’t linger long. Not bad!
Good Lord! I this one is SO NOT for me! It smells, looks, AND Tastes like Pencil shavings! BLAH!
VERY bitter, too!
Sorry!
Terrible!
This is a very satisfying ginger root. One of the better tasting ones I have tried or maybe it’s just because the older I get the more I appreciate ginger root, not sure. This helps the throat and my shifting wisdom teeth. Mission accomplished.
I had some of this earlier today! It’s a might fine Yunnan. It’s slightly bakey but sweet. It has hints of grainy notes that fit in nicely. It’s reminiscent of creme brulee or a comparable dessert – on the end sip!
I know I have logged this one but I also know it’s been like 4 years.
I had a cup of this yesterday – loose. It was alright! It was Chai with Coconut. It was sweet but spicy. Tropical but ‘of the earth’, too!
Had a bit of this before passing the rest along – see previous notes
This was a goodie! Smooth and creamy! sweet and gooey. Very much like Caramel Cheesecake! YUM!
Sure wish I had more!
Backlogging several cups from yesterday!
A very potent and aromatic Rose EG! Stands up to it’s name. Floral Rose, That flavor you would expect from an Earl and the juicy bergamot, too! Levels of Flavors exceed expectations!
This is a medium-strength Lovers Leap Ceylon and it’s pretty satisfying! There is a bit of “crustiness” and it works really well in this cuppa! Delightful!
I’m so happy the ’Here’s Hoping’ Traveling Tea box included several Black Teas I haven’t tried yet! Most of which I am only having a cups-worth and sending the rest along the way so others can enjoy, too! I assume JacquelineM was the one who added this one because she, too, added tasting notes to this one, as well as the loose leaf being in the little plastic containers that are super cute! Thanks!
This is robust and astringent in a good way! A FAB Morning Tea – it really whacked me in the face – just what I needed this morning!
A special shoutout this morning to SIL
I started posting early just for you!!!
:)
I tip my tea cup to you!
I’m starting my day with a bit of this – it’s a bit bitter – but not overly -so. I can’t really taste much “cream” but the blueberry notes are there! The black tea base is strong and I like that! Not too shabby! :)
Tasty! Yes…not overly maple or creamy or anything but just tasty. It’s sweet – mostly from the Rooibos and a pinch of smoothness but not milky or creamy, per say. I do think I can tasty more of the ‘creaminess’ when cold brewed tho!
Grabbed the first thing I could find to combat the taste of the last tea I drank!
See other notes for tasting/review :)
I had high hopes for this one. I have been off dairy for a while and perhaps that is why I was baffled when I tried this and wasn’t as impressed.
It’s sweet, yes, but its kind of reminiscent of stevia and sort of turning my stomach. eeeeek!
not rating.
I know I have had this one before but apparently I never logged it or Steepster ate my note – so – before passing this along in the box – I will give it an official review.
It smells like Coffee, Nuts, Chocolate, and Mate. It does taste more chocolate-E/Cocoa-Y than I remember it. It has a nice roasted hazelnut flavor, too! It’s robust yet fairly hazelnut-creamy-esque.
I’m liking this better than I remember, actually!
I think I have only ever had a tea or two from this company that is why I chose to swipe it from the ’here’s hoping ’traveling tea box today! I will be replacing it with something else. In the meantime I wanted to share with you my findings on this tea while I was sipping it!
Right away I noticed the vibrant maroon type glow this tea had once it was infused! It’s a gorgeous color! The aroma is somewhat bakey and croissant like but also a little like sun dried tomatoes. YUM!
The flavor is a little woodsy but also a bit minerally – like ‘stones’ almost like some oolongs I have tried. There is a sturdy black tea finish that has a hint of bitterness to it – but in a good way.
I really like this tea – the flavor is full and rich in spots – but I have the say the aroma is what makes me want to continue drinking it! Ahhhhh!
