6686 Tasting Notes

Phoenix Pearl from Zen Tea
94

Special thanks to Liberteas for this one!
First cup – 1st infusion was sweet and smooth with a little bit of sweet woodsy and earthiness to it! It was nice! Towards the end of the sip I got a little bit of cocoa flavor as well – close and comparable to a cocoa powder type flavor.

2nd Infusion – a bit over infused on purpose – was quite nice, too!

More hearty, more earthy, more cocoa-E. It’s still rich and still bold!
Very nice Black Tea!

Premium Keemun Hao Ya Black Tea from Teavivre
91
Tropical Paradise from The Persimmon Tree Tea Company
85

Yummers…will prob sip on this until I cannot sip on it anymore…see other notes…have a great weekend!

Ball & Chain from Indie Tea
88

Just had a triple shot of this – LOTS of loose leaf at less time – just for kicks! Hearty but good! See other notes!

Monkey King Jasmine Green Tea from Numi Organic Tea

It’s been forever since I have had a cup of this and I did have one earlier today but my water wasn’t hot enough so I won’t rate it yet. It’s fairly good for a bagged green.

Tangerine Creamsicle from Butiki Teas
88

I cold brewed this one earlier and it was very yummy! Less Tangerine and Cream when cold brewed but still tasty! See previous notes on this one, too!

Coconut Macaroon from Compass Teas
88

Started my day with at least 3 cups of this one today!
I’m a little behind logging, sorry!

See other tasting notes on this one!

Wintergreen Matcha from Red Leaf Tea
90

My one Wisdom Tooth is throbbing – it doesn’t hurt – but there is a strange sensation there. I was hoping this wintergreen would give it some relief. I had 3 cups so far. It’s yummy but not sure if it’s doing anything to actually help. See other notes

Organic Spring Twist from Butiki Teas
93
Kenilworth Estate OP from Upton Tea Imports
89

Started my day with 2 cups of this! It was nice! I previously reviewed it so take a look at the other notes :)

Also…I have a giveaway for fearless chocolate on my website today thru Monday!

Kopili Assam from Stash Tea Company
77
The Decaffeinator from DAVIDsTEA
36

It’s not awful, but it’s not really my cuppa, either. It’s seems the other 3 people/reviews like it and that’s cool, but it’s too much chicory for this chic! It’s darker than tar, too!

Meh

Himalayan Green Tea w/ Lemon from New SADLE
69

Jillian Thanks for a bit of this! It’s ok! It’s not too one way or the other for a green…by that I mean…not too sweet, not too grassy, not too vegetal, not to bitter, not to floral…you get the idea. It’s a nice middle of the road bagged green to fall back on if you may or if you must.

T.T.E.S. No. 18: Ruby Black Tea from Yuangshiang - ITFA - International Tea Farm Allaince/TeaFarms.org
86

I sipped down 2 cups of this and only have enough for another cup or two – might hide it from myself to surprise myself down the road! it will be missed when it is gone, tho. See other notes!

TC22: Kalubowitiyana Estate CTC BP1 from Upton Tea Imports
79

Started today with 2 cups of this! It fit the bill – see other notes :)

Mint Medley (Herb Tea) from Bigelow
60

Needed a quick cup of something minty and in a bag and this is what I found…yesterday…back logging…see other notes on this one

Banaspaty Estate TGBOP Organic (TA17) from Upton Tea Imports
83

Backlogging this one, too! Upping it a bit.
Everytime I drink this one I want to call it “Banana Patsy”

Orange Chamomile from Fashionista Tea
78

I’m not a fan of Chamomile. I can usually stomach it if it has a nice amount of mint to it. This, however, was nice. Sure…it’s Chamomile but the Orange plays in nicely! I don’t think it would have worked for me any other way. I just might add Chamomile with the pairing of Orange to my list of do-ables!

Nice!

Baker Street Afternoon Blend (TB75) from Upton Tea Imports
91

I forgot to log this one the other day – see previous notes, tho!
It’s one of my first cup of the day go-to’s lately!

Nepal - Aarubotay "Plum Tree" Gardens Oolong Organic from Simpson & Vail
92

I really thought I logged this one…Oops!

Well, here we go!

I love how this one smells! It’s sweet wood – more sweet than wood. Not dirty wood either…not really earthy, per say, but a nice sweetness! There is a savoriness to it, too!

The flavor is lovely as well! Somewhat brothy, a little chewy, slightly vegetal – almost more on the gentle herbal side – like a sweet basil, perhaps – but just a hint!

It’s VERY yummy! A delightful Oolong! YUM!

White Tip Jasmine from Fashionista Tea
70

Fairly satisfying for a Jasmine. I am not a Jasmine Tea Guru by any means. It’s not my favorite from them but it’s not bad at all either! It’s a nice floral Jasmine, regardless!

Sechong Oolong from Nature's Tea Leaf
82

Special thanks to Azzrian for this one!

It’s a nice Sechong! It’s been a while since my last cup and this was a nice welcome-back to the Sechong world!

It’s thick – like brothy or like a soup. It’s woodsy and slightly sweet and a bit vegetal – not like leafy greens but more like sweet peas, almost.

It has a pinch of creaminess to it too! A delight!

For those of you who like contests and giveaways! I have one on my website
http://myblissfuljourney.com

I will choose 3 winners on Monday! I hope you will enter!!!

Cherry Blossom from Harney & Sons
68

Thanks Jillian

This is VERY subtly cherry flavored – barely there, really, but what is there is pleasant. I would rather cherry be subtle than over the top and chemically tasting which this is NOT. Thankfully. The green tea isn’t grassy or overly dry or overly sweet, either.

This isn’t my favorite – it could be better but it could also be a lot worse.

I think this would be a nice starter or base green tea. Might even shine more as an iced green tea.

I like this one so-so.
