This is one of the best everyday teas I have had, soft, gentle, delicious!

In the canister this had a sublime smell which pretty much carried through 3 infusions, though growing fainter. Infusion 1 was very floral, with a veggie edge, smooth and thick and full. #2 was more vegetal and buttery, more towards squash than green stuff, al though the floral came out more as it cooled. #3 was pretty strightforward floral.
This is a somewhat delicate tea, with malty, nutty spicey notes. It is not exceptional, but it is pleasant. S&V says you can blend it with others and I think you could. Takes cream nicely or is fine without.

Sweet, honey, floral, light, , maybe a touch of grass/herb – perfect summer tea.
This year’s Golden Silk is superb. Dry it smells so good, your mouth starts watering. it is a smooooooth woodsy, honey floral mix that is wonderful!
I thought this had something of a licorice smell in the packet, with some grilled veggie there, too. To me it was quite smooth, and not very brisk. I think I should’ve brewed it for another minute. Not an exciting tea, but pleasant and easy to drink.
A black Japanese tea – had to try it. The leaves were very fine, with a lot of powder and smell of nuts and cooked squash. I found the one minute brew much too bland and bitter. The second was nutty and squash-like with a bitter edge. The 3 minute was by far the best, smooth and nutty – walnut shading into macadamia nut. Probably never a favorite, but it would go well with Asian dishes that are on the beefy, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce end of the spectrum.
This is such a pleasant tea. Not perfumey, more of an herbal, almost minty. A good tea base with just enough of it’s flavors and oils. A good balance.
Not my favorite gunpowder, my “Scoop up what looks good in the Asian Market” Camel brand is still my favorite, but I like it. I like the tiny whiff of smoke and the slight bitterness and it doesn’t taste fishy or seaweedy. There’s also the barest hint of asparagus in the taste.
This is this year’s Dao Ming and it is superb. Very dark red wine cask smell and taste, with oakiness, and a bit of acerbic twist. A tiny whiff of smoke in the smell, but none in the taste. Earthy but not Pu-erh like. More a groundedness. A touch of cream rounds out the edges from being brewed about 1/2 minute too long. Really excellent stuff.
This is what I consider to be the best of the currently available Princes.
Smells nice and there is a gentle ginger taste with an underlying sweet tea. I am not a white tea fan, I don’t have the palate for it. Even so, it was good in a very understated way.
Not a whole lot of Orangebut this was a comforting warming drink that was raosty and toasty, definately nutty and it goes well with cream and sugar.
Wow! Dry it smells of the best winey tobacco, but gently, being sweet and fresh. It has lots of nuances and is just plain really good stuff. Brew it the full six minutes. You’ll be glad you did.
I cn’t decide if I like this or not. It is not a particularly floral OB, which I really like.It is a beautiful coloor, like some dandelion jelly I got at the farmer’s market. To me it is both nutty and vegetal. The mouth feel is very full and somewhat astringent, drying to my mouth. A good counterpoint to sweets. The second brew smelled like the steam of ironed clothes and was greener tasting and I liked it better. Definately one to explore
This came in a nice package of 6 teabags, with six clover honey spoons. It had not much taste nor much smell, even with the honey spoon stirred well in.
A lovely smelling tea with a very average taste. Where have all the flowers gone?
This has an almost roasted apricot scent to it, with a hint of bubblegum. It tastes primarily of good fresh tea, with a pleasant adition of apricot, which is just how I like it. Sweetening brings the fruit out.
I think this is the second worst Lapsang Souchong I have had. It tasted like bad charcoal
I had this as a loose tea and I thought it was excellent. Deep and strong and winey, with the barest tiniest whiff of cherry and smoke, quite possibly from Keemun tea, as that is usually a component of English Breakfast, along with an Indian tea, usually Assam.
Hot, this is a wonderful tea which has 2 of my favorite flavors – Lavender and Jasmine, which somehow take turns being in the forefront of taste. A delicate tea, but well flavored. Cold, it is equally a star, with the lavender having first place and the jasmine sweetening it. All around good stuff
