737 Tasting Notes
Absolute perfection for anyone looking to reduce or eliminate coffee from their diet! Will definitely be purchasing a whole box of this flavor. The experience is a lot like having coffee. It smells like freshly-brewed drip coffee and has a similar mouthfeel. Has the roasted bean-y bite that you want in a cup of black coffee, but no caffeine and no acidity. I personally did not add any milk or sweetener to it, but you totally could if you want to and the brew would hold up to it like coffee.
Flavors: Coffee, Dark Bittersweet, Nutty, Roasted, Toasty
Easily my favorite from the dandelion blend sampler pack I got. Just so, so, so good. The sweetness/ burnt sugar notes from the caramel complements the burnt, roasted note from the dandelion root, and the extra nutty flavoring enhances everything as well. Smells heavenly and feels like having a second cup of coffee, but without the caffeine or the acid.
Flavors: Burnt Sugar, Caramel, Coffee, Dandelion, Nutty, Roasted, Roasted Nuts, Sweet, Toasty
Pretty good! Perfect, barest hint of sweetness from the dates rounds it out a little and makes up for the fact that the roasted flavor of the dandelion root and chicory doesn’t pair perfectly with mint. Wouldn’t buy a full box of just this flavor, but definitely not unhappy about having it in the sampler pack.
Flavors: Burnt, Chocolate, Dark Bittersweet, Mint, Nutty, Roasted, Toasty
Sipdown…
Dug this one out of my tea cupboard and cold-brewed the last of it in a big pitcher. Just to get rid of it. Obviously, it’s super old. But I think since the concentration of the brew is strong, it helped keep the flavoring from being watered down, even with the ice I poured it over.
It’s cloyingly sweet, as was/ is characteristic of most Teavana blends. Lemongrass and strawberry are the dominant notes, with the dragonfruit and pineapple adding a slightly acidic-perfume-y, fruit-punch like kick at the end. It’s not my favorite thing in the world, but it is a lovely bright reddish pink color and it refreshed me just fine during this heat wave in Northeastern US.
Flavors: Artificial, Fruit Punch, Lemongrass, Perfume, Pineapple, Strawberry, Sweet
A good, affordable substitute for the Recover tea from Teavana, which I still miss at this time of year. The ginger and lime together remind me of Coca-Cola, although I got a note of coconut as well. It’s… almost Christmas-y. I quite like the smoother flavor of white hibby.
Flavors: Citrusy, Coconut, Ginger, Pleasantly Sour, Spices
I love the jitters-free caffeine boost from mate, but I have to really be in the mood for mate in order to make myself a cup. And I’m only in the mood for it like, once a year.
I like this one better than the Guayaki kind. It has a milder flavor.
But yeah, it still tastes like grass.

I absolutely love this tisane.
It scratches the itch for a second coffee around midmorning. No caffeine in this, and it’s far healthier, especially because I don’t add anything to it. It’s got a pleasantly burnt taste to it, like toast. Very satisfying.
Flavors: Dandelion, Earth, Nutty, Toast
