Got on the treadmill yesterday and my knees were instantly KILLING me. They’re nice and stiff today, too. I’m only 23! What the hell?!

For my sanity’s sake, I’m going to chalk it up to the crazily fluctuating, unseasonable temperatures in my region of the world.

I’m drinking a big steaming cup of this, double-sacheted for good measure. Ginger and green tea are both supposed to help joint pain, so this should alleviate some of the discomfort. I really hope this doesn’t continue after this winter.

I’m down to one sachet after this— I will more than likely restock it. Probably it’s supposed to be a springtime tea, but I like it year round. Coconut, vanilla, ginger, and lemongrass are four of my favorite tea flavors, and this tea contains all four.

Fjellrev

Oh yeah, the weather can definitely cause that. Hope you’ll have an easier time next time!

Thank you :) The temps outside are climbing so the knee pain is gone, thankfully.

I think either this tea improves with age, or I have improved in my scooping and steeping amounts. It’s sweet and mellow today, yet still flavorful and aromatic. Thoroughly enjoying this cuppa.

I found this at TJ Maxx yesterday. It was too cute to leave behind!

I used it for the first time this afternoon. The bottom pops out and you’re supposed to fill the skinny part of the anchor with the dry leaf, which is actually difficult and annoying. I was using a CTC black tea, too, so it was already rolled into pellets, and I still scattered them everywhere trying to get them into the infuser.

I wouldn’t use this with whole-leaf tea. But once filled, it actually worked really well. It allowed a slower, more full release of the tea into the water, which improved the flavor. Additionally, since it’s not made of metal, it didn’t add a nasty metallic tinge to the cup, and it is very easy to clean.

Overall, it’s cute and it works, but it’s not overly efficient or practical for everyday use.

I know I’m like, way more than fashionably late with this one since this is a Christmas tea, but I felt like it tonight. Maybe it’s because I also decided to use my Vanilla Bean Noel body lotion after my shower. I’m in a sugary vanilla Christmas mood I guess.

This is a perfect embodiment of a sugar cookie inna cup. Sweet, vanilla, slight hint of citrus.

Flavors: Lemon Zest, Orange Zest, Sugar, Vanilla

Mmm, sounds like a fine vanilla-filled evening.

I really love this one… It’s definitely a more roasted, black tea-leaning oolong, and it smells and tastes like chocolate to me. Very easy to steep and tasty at various temps. Smooth and amazing! Convenient and excellent quality for the price.

The shiny box is way better than the actual tea inside. Bummer. It smells good when it steeps, and in the first part of the sip, I get notes of milk and white chocolate and a twist of floral. In the aftertaste though, I get something akin to latex, like the taste of dentist’s gloves.

:(

Flavors: Artificial, White Chocolate

Fjellrev

Ouch. Sorry it didn’t work out. I was tempted to buy one of their teas because of the pretty box too.

i’ve seen them sold at dollar stores here in toronto so i haven’t yet bit the bullet and picked any up.

Fjellrev— Yeah, don’t be fooled by the shininess! If you decide to pick one up, just don’t set your expectations too high :)

Sil—They’re all right for a bagged tea… I haven’t tried a legit loose milk oolong though so I don’t have much frame of reference. Haha.

Pretty solid and reliable green tea. Drank it before and after my workout this morning. Burn them cals!

It’s hard to mess this one up, it really is. My stash of it is rather old, so I overleafed and it still tasted like its usual fruity, woodsy, fragrant self.

Bitter when super hot, as it cools it tastes fruity and floral. I get a peach note, weirdly. It’ll do for a work tea.

Grabbed a box of this because it came with a free organic lip balm inside. I’m a total sucker, what can I say?
I threw a bag of CS’s Decaf Green into the mug with the Peppermint to kind of round this out a bit, Moroccan mint tea- style. Plain peppermint can be a bit too intense for me sometimes. I didn’t add any sugar though, so it’s not a true Moroccan mint blend, but whatever.
It’s nice though. The American peppermint that they use has a warming, energizing quality to it, which I desperately need today. The decaf green tea gives it an earthy base and gives it that soulful, rich quality that only camellia sinensis leaves can provide.
Glad I made this purchase. Now my lips will stay unchapped (ha, yeah right) AND I have a go-to weekend cuppa to keep me company as I slog through my accounting homework.

Now that I have a kettle at work, I can bring better teas to drink during the day. Man, did I ever need a hot cuppa when I walked in this morning, too! The winter wind is enough to take your breath away. This is the first of probably many mugs of tea that I will consume today.

And what a delicious one it is, too! The base is definitely Ceylon, which mingles with the very high quality bergamot oil and gives the liquor the scents of cherry, cranberry, and citrus. I concur with the other reviews— this is a totally different animal than its bagged counterpart by the same company.

Upon sipping… The bergamot is there and is genuine, but does not overpower the cup. I get notes of orange, milk chocolate, and something metallic— iron? That might be due to my use of a metal tea ball infuser. It’s a finely blended and delicate tea, nonetheless. Excellent value for the price.
