This. Is. Delicious.

I’m obsessed with vanilla flavored teas now. This is so sweet and fragrant and expertly blended… Oh my God.

New staple. Easily.

Oh, I didn’t know Twinings made this blend as well. We have a chamomile, honey and vanilla one from Celestial Seasonings that we’re quite fond of. :)

It’s such a perfect combination of flavors! Very sweet and mild, but it stays with me in such a nice way. It’s a simple pleasure.

Got an interview for tomorrow for a job that I am very very excited about! Soooo happy and nervous!

Drinking this to calm my nerves a little. It’s nothing special as far as bagged chai masalas with black bases go; a little heavy on the cinnamon, but that doesn’t bother me any. Scratches the itch when you’re a broke and rushed college senior, like me.

Good luck at the interview!

I love this stuff. It’s so light and refreshing. I’m getting honey notes this time, and I’m starting to see what they mean by Muskatel grape notes. The grape lingers somewhere in the fragrance of the tea.

This has a little something extra that plain Ceylon lacks.

Sipdown!

Made up a pot of this with the last of my leaves. I’m gonna keep the tin, because I think I can use it to store all of the stray pens and pencils lying around my room.

I probably will eventually restock this. It’s a nice loose leaf herbal, full of nice berries and healthy things. Packed with flavor. All I need is a hint of honey or some of the real maple syrup that I got this weekend, and I’m all set. I’ve been very impressed with Tiesta so far.

Right, this cements it. Definitely not a fan of blends containing gotu kola. This tea is like drinking from a swimming pool. VERY marine, and the cinnamon was a nice idea in theory, but I’m not getting any of it, because whatever green tea base they used and the gotu kola completely overpower it. Yuck.

Had a cup of this at my friend’s house with two fresh lemon wedges. Not bad. Nice and soothing after a busy day.

Could be the lemon, but I’m not getting all that much bergamot. I’m picky about my EG’s; the bergamot is best when it appears as a twist of citrus, not a perfume bath, and I like it best when it tastes fresh and not metallic. If it’s too light, I feel like I may as well be drinking English Breakfast, and if it’s too strong, it’s just unpleasant.

This blend is just kind of meh. It’s getting the job done, but not exactly setting the world on fire.

Last night, I went through my ridiculous tea collection and dug out the boxes of teas that have only five or so servings left, and I put them in a separate box. They are now Priority Teas, meaning that I’m not allowed to buy any new teas until I’ve finished them.

This is one of the Priority Teas.

I know it’s crappy Lipton, but this one really is good. it was nice and light and fruity but not overly sweet, which I definitely appreciated.

This is an exceptional term and a brilliant way to manage sipdowns. THANK YOU. Setting up my own Priority Tea station this weekend.

This is the tea that introduced me to longjing, which is now my very favorite type of green tea. Soooo buttery and delicious.

I’ve never really gotten much in the way of “fruityness” from this Tiesta concoction; the base is clearly the dominant part of the blend. But that is A-OK with me, because fruityness can be easily overdone, in my opinion.

I also love that one scoop of leaves can be good for up to three cups of tea.

I love this EG…

The bergamot tastes almost fresh in this one, and the black tea base is superb. Choice’s bagged teas really are excellent. I left the bag in the water for the whole time and the flavor was perfect the whole time.
