From 52teas

Tea of the Week for September 26, 2022!

This tea is absolutely delicious! It starts with a fantastic Nilgiri black tea. To this lovely base, I added pears, some shredded coconut & butterscotch cotton candy. The cotton candy is VEGAN – created with organic sugar & vegan, gluten-free butterscotch essence. As this tea cured, the cotton candy lost the candy floss fluffiness & became tiny candy crystals which imparts a hint of butterscotch sweetness to the cup.

Everything comes together amazingly well – creating an uncommonly delicious tea! It’s also organic, VEGAN, gluten-free & all natural!

The pear flavor comes through so clearly – it’s really nice! This was best cold with milk. The pear has somewhat of a baked flavor, but is also sort of floral and fresh and complex. I was even more impressed with my second and third servings. It’s so expertly blended, and I’m sad it’s gone.

Thank you for your kind comments. We do still have just a few more of this one left – and it’s on sale! :)

September 2022 Blend

I finished this off ages ago but it feels wrong to not make a note for a tea I enjoyed so much.

The combination of coconut and butterscotch flavouring is sublime. It gives that pear a creamy-sweet edge, that makes me think “baked”, and highlights the natural notes of the nilgiri base. I’m surprised to see that it’s still available in the store, so brb…

I absolutely love how this one turned out. I like all the blends I create (I wouldn’t put them up for sale if I didn’t enjoy them) but this one exceeded my expectations. So amazingly good.

I’m not always the biggest pear fan, but something won me over here in a big way. I suspect it’s the butterscotch cotton candy. Or maybe it was the coconut cream (I need to drink more to get to the bottom of this). All I know is that it tasted like a super fancy dessert that I want more of :P

Pear is not something I’d usually jump at, but your description of this got me!
