Samurai TTB #44

I’m not a drinker and I’ve never had a margarita, but since this was AQTT, I had to try it! The black tea base is very smooth and the flavor is very fruity and slightly artificial. Apparently it’s supposed to be lime, but I’m not sure it really read as lime for me. I did enjoy it, but don’t feel the need to drink it again.

From the Samurai TTB
Lemongrass, lime, salt, and some sort of artificial flavor that resembles a margarita? I’m sure this would cold brew or ice better than it is hot. It’s smells more like a margarita than it tastes. In all not a bad cup, but maybe not for me. It could benefit from some chips and salsa or a salt rimmed glass, but then so would an actual margarita!

Cold Brew Sipdown (1076)!

I’m sad to see this tea go because it was super refreshing and had one of the nicest fresh lime flavours I’ve seen in a tea in a long time. The body of the black tea but the refreshing elements of the bamboo were such a genius combination and it’s the coordination of ingredients mixed with the perfectly executed flavour concept that really reminds me why it was so easy to fall in love with AQ2T…

That said, I’m proud of myself for continuing to focus on my sipdown goals for the month!!
