Seasonal Eggnog Blend

Black Tea by Adagio Teas

by Michael Zinkann

To those who don’t wish to have the full bite of an eggnog drink, I present a lighter and more delicate alternative. Provided is a primary mixture of Vanilla with a bit of Rum and a dash of Cinnamon. Goes best with a little cream.

Pretty much all I can smell and taste is the cinnamon and vanilla. The cinnamon is WAY too strong. I don’t know what the ratios are, but I’d do 10% cinnamon, 20% rum, and 70% cream instead of vanilla.

Love this tea! It has such a warm cinnamony-vanilla flavor. You can even taste a hint of rum. It’s perfect on cold nights or after dinner with cream. I’d even venture to say this would be great with vanilla ice cream.

And that’s the end of that. My last pot, served with sugar and a splash of French vanilla cream. Topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Does anyone know if Adagio’s tea tins are dishwasher safe?

Had this again, brewed strong and blended with just a little French Vanilla Coffeemate. It’s so good like this. I added a small amount of sugar and extra cinnamon as well.

Sadly, I can see the bottom of my tin. :(

Brewed this double-strong and used 1 part water, 1 part milk. Added sugar and topped with whipped cream. It’s almost like a chai latte this way. Should have sprinkled cinnamon on top of the cream… hmm.
