This smells quite nice – like an early grey but with a creamy, dessert-like scent to it. Taste-wise there’s a bit of the sweet, vanilla-cream at the start of each sip…but it quickly gets jumped on and smothered by the Earl Grey Bravo which then proceeds to do a victory dance on my tongue. Maybe if I steep it a bit less like I do a cup of straight Earl Grey Bravo it won’t be as pungent.

Another sample polished off, this one from TeaEqualsBliss. I’m taking it with milk and a touch of honey and it really does have sort of a London Fog-ish quality to it. The vanilla and the cream sweeten it pleasently and balance out that strong-flavoured earl grey that Adagio blends.

This tastes a great deal better with a shorter steep – and I also used a bit less dry tea aswell. It’s certainly tasting creamier, sweeter, and smoother and I bet I could make an awesome London Fog out of this – I’d only need to add the steamed milk. I’ve decided to up the rating a little bit, too.

I’m not sure what it is, but I really didn’t like this tea. I thought I would love it. I’m a huge earl grey fan, and I absolutely love london fogs. Since london fogs are made up of earl grey, vanilla, and milk, I thought the combination of flavours in this tea would be perfect for me. I think it’s something about the adagio vanilla black tea that I don’t like. In the tin, the blend smells sickeningly sweet to me. It has almost a caramel or candy scent, rather than a fragrant floral vanilla. I always add milk and sugar to my earl grey, but in this it isn’t pleasant in the slightest.

I did like the flavour of the adagio earl grey though, so I might add a sample tin of that to my next order. The addition of the vanilla just wasn’t for me. I’ll be passing this one along to someone who’ll hopefully enjoy it more than I do.

Woah! This is very bold! I think I oversteeped it or something. Maybe a second steep is in order. Tastes very astringent!

Great blend! Very rich and soothing.

I’m running low on everything!!! Luckily, I’ll have a brand new box of goodness from Adagio as soon as I get home. Yea! New teas and new posts to follow.

Does anyone know of an ANTI-rain dance? I’m about tired of driving to and from work in the rain. And my dog can’t go out and play. Wanna see a 150 pound Great Dane that is scared of the rain?…come to my crib. At least this cuppa kept me nice and warm and snuggly as I pretend to work. I’m on my second cup. Bravo Sagittarius tea!

The cream flavor is really coming through in this cup…pretty neat considering all I used was a little splenda.

Had it with a scone. Mmmm ….

I have my fluffy blanket wrapped all around me, an extraordinarily thin and crisp almondina cookie and a cup of Sagittarius tea. That is the way to spend the evening!
I’m a big sucker for anything lemony so do like bergamot flavor a lot. I dunno but there is something uplifting about citrus aroma. Cream and vanilla add some smoothness and sweetness blending well with the bright notes of the bergamot.

Nice!
