Citron Green

Fruit Green Blend by Adagio Teas

Green tea from China with the delicate flavors of lemon and lime. A happy marriage of great taste and proven health benefits. Just the right touch of citrus flavors to liven up the cup. Makes a light and refreshing drink that’s popular both hot and iced. If you are new to green tea, this lightly flavored tea may be a good place to start.

This tea is great, don’t even need to add honey.

Fruit Loops? Yes please, and add some green tea for milk. To me, the fruit and green tea tasted balanced, and I didn’t feel like one over-powered the other. I would reorder this tea and also recommend it to others new to trying green tea.

How does this tea compare to Teavana’s Citron Green? I’m using Teavana’s green for a blend, but Adagio’s is sooo much cheaper.

This one came as a sample. I like it, don’t love it. The flavor isn’t very strong even when I steeped it longer than normal.

There is something wonderful about this tangy, yet bold tea. On first opening, I was skeptical of the smell and the fact that there was dried orange peels in the tea leaves. Nevertheless, I was blissfully surprised by the taste and refreshing factor this yummy tea had.

First steep was very subtle lemon flavor; scent was definitely there. At first it tasted like lemon flavored water, but perhaps if I try at a lower temp it will yield different results. I’ll try this on second steep. Regardless, nice and smooth.

Such a long exhausting day. This whole week has been a blur. Seriously. You know, the days when you look at the clock and realize it’s 11:30 at night. Where did the day go?! I’m.. ready for spring break. 10 more days..

This tea. I don’t know. I’ve been drinking a lot more of it recently. There’s something about it. I don’t enjoy it too much while I’m drinking it but then after wards I always want to make another cup. What’s the deal Adagio? Do you line your teas with herion? Such a .. strange addiction. I’m excited to get my order of Gunpowder along with a few other samples tomorrow.. and my treats from 52teas should be arriving any day now. I love getting packages.

I don’t know why I keep making this. I’m really not a fan. I just find the flavor completely bland and lacking, no matter how much tea I add. I tossed well over 3 teaspoons into 16oz of water but still the lemon flavor was light. Steeped for about 2 minutes. Eh. It’s not that bad, but I just personally don’t like the lightness of this tea.

Backlogging from last night..
Surprisingly tasty, and better than I expected. That good experience might push me to finish the leaves I have left of this haha. I think tossing a ton of leaves in brought out the lemon flavor a lot more than usual and resulted in a change of heart this go around..
I’ll have to see what the next cup says.

There’s something funny about this tea; I don’t think it’s that amazing while I’m drinking it, but about 10 or so minutes afterwards I get this craving in my mouth of wanting more. I don’t know what it is :) hah. Anyway, steeped for about 2:30 the second time around and this seemed to bring out the flavor a bit more. This tea smells like lemon, but I’ve learned smells can be deceiving. It’s primarily a standard green tea with a very, VERY light lemon taste. Aftertaste is sweet however.

Had to Check my my strainer to make sure I didn’t just steep a cup of Fruit Loops. =P

Got this from a sampler pack and definitely not a tea for my taste. I just don’t like flavored teas that much unless it’s very subtle and this has a robust orange/lemon zest smell and taste.

This is one of my favorite teas I have ordered from Adagio. It is my daily brew and I just ran out today. I find it very refreshing and hits the spot every time.

Very nice but i prefer the Mandarin Green instead. Watch the steep time carefully; over steeping this tea will turn the subtle flavor into a disgusting brew

I like this tea iced. Hot it might be good if I were to have a sore throat or something just when its hot the citrus flavor is just WAY too strong for a more than once in a while tea. Iced it’s wonderful though cause that citrus flavor kinda mellows out and it ends up tasting sweet.

This is OK. It isn’t bad but it’s not my favorite. It doesn’t have the brightness I wanted from a citrus tea. I prefer Adagio’s Mandarin Green.

Tastes as good as it smells! Light and citrusy and delicious. I bet it’d be even more glorious iced. :D

Always been a fan of this tea, and just ordered and 8oz tin. Single cup, 2 raw sugar. I need to get more Truvia…

Had gotten a bit burnt out on this one, but after coming back to it later, I still enjoy it.

I think I just need to take it easy with this one.

Single cup, 2 raw sugar.

This tastes like fruit loops and does a fantastic job of covering up the b-grade Long Jing they used as a base. If that’s what you’re looking for, hit it up.
