Free sample with my last Adagio order.

I have experienced a lot of bad iced tea. Usually it’s pretty tasteless, or nauseatingly bitter restaurant stuff from mixes, bottled Snapple with flavors that seem artificial or with too sweet artificial sweetener, or my own pretty lame attempts at iced tea that never quite get the water ratio right.

On the other hand, I haven’t experienced that much good iced tea. As I sit here and think about it, I think the best iced tea experience I’ve had is Arnold Palmers at the Cheesecake Factory, and since they are half lemonade I don’t know that they really count.

So that may explain why I liked this even though it seems a lot of other people didn’t. Compared to my baseline, this is way good. :-)

No sweetener, but doesn’t need it. Nothing that tastes artificial, not weak, not bitter. The jasmine permeates the tea and is very flavorful. The tea has a chestnutty/waterchestnutty note to it that lingers in the aftertaste.

I’d drink it again over most iced tea I’ve had, but as I said, my experience is pretty limited when it comes to good iced tea.

THERE’S BAKING SODA IN THIS! (bare with me, only one more acclaimation to deal with lol). It just says “Jasmine Tea”- doesn’t say what the base is. That bothers me.

The jasmine is VERY strong and the combo of that w/ the vitamin C and baking soda gives it a bitter tastes. Unfortunately the jasmine doesn’t cover the bitter, weird, icky taste, but at least it helps distract me. It’s the worst jasmine tea I’ve had, but since all other jasmines I’ve had have been really good thus far, that really isn’t saying much. But at least I was able to finish (albeit not overly enjoy) the entire bottle. Will never buy again. Adagio’s “best” RTD tea which is really scary.

I really like the bottled Jasmine Tea from Adagio, and whenever it goes on sale I stock up. It’s VERY flowery, which I like, so jasmine fans should rejoice and try a bottle! Works double time as a refreshing drink and breath freshener :-p

Smells good, tastes like you’re drinking cheap perfume.

added some sugar and made it bearable, still has a nasty aftertaste though.

Gross, gross, gross. I was stoked that Adagio gave me a free sample of this stuff in my 1st order. I would have been super pissy if I paid for this drink. Overly flowerly, horrible aftertaste…just yuck.
