Ok, this is going to sound strange….but I smell tangy BBQ when I smell this. No, I don’t have a clue WHY I smell that….but I do…I’m craving Famous Dave’s all of a sudden. Also smell the cinnamon.

Taste is good (because I’m a huge rooibos fan) but lacking in apple in any way as far as I can tell. As it cools down, I can finally detect a hint of the apple at the very end. Cinnamon seems about right. I like it, but think that’s only due to my love of rooibos. For this to be “perfect” I’d need a much more pronounced apple out of it.

Thanks Meowkattack! This smells so good! It reminds me of warm apple sauce. The flavor is mostly a sweet/spicy cinnamon with light apple notes. It’s very tasty :)

The first rooibos sample I’m trying from the myriad of rooibos/honeybush samples I purchased from Adagio. I actually had a taste for apples, so I thought this tea would be perfect. When I opened the pouch I was hit with what reminded me of scented candles or potpourri. Not necessarily a bad thing, but a bit different to say the least.

The tea actually tastes very sweet. I’m wondering why this is, but maybe it’s the apple? I think I did see apple pieces in it or something, but I doubt that really contributes to the flavor. I’m not getting blasted by cinnamon like other reviewers are, but maybe it builds up on your tongue over time.

Okay, I had to go back and edit this note. The tea was just too sweet and became overly artificial tasting as I kept drinking. I guess my boyfriend was right when he said it truly tasted like drinking a candle >.<

This is not the type of tea I would normally buy. I actually got it for my mom (and of course stole a cup before giving it to her). It’s not overwhelmingly cinnamon, but still too much for my tastes. The apple and rooibos flavors are light. It’s a good tea, just not really for me. Prepared with stevia.

Not an unpleasant cup by any means but not something I’d buy again. The smell in the pouch is of apple pie but that scent does not completely transfer to the cup. The drink tastes mostly of cinnamon and the apple is very hard to detect. The cinnamon is not overwheelming but it does overpower the rooibos.

Is this dessert or tea? Either way is fine with me. I would be afraid to add sugar because this is plenty sweet without. I used to make sweet iced-T with a stick or two of cinnamon, but this is much better hot. Maybe I’ll try it iced on a hot afternoon.

The cinnamon totally overpowers the other tastes in this tea, which may actually be fortunate since the cinnamon/apple taste does not, from what little I can get of the actual rooibos taste, match it very well – which could account for it tasting artificial. Something of a disappointment, honestly.

It’s good, although not as good as I was expecting. I steep it for 8 or 9 minutes and add just a pinch of sugar. Cinnamon is definitely the strongest flavor. Apple is there, although it tastes a bit artificial.

As a Roobios junkie, I just knew I would LOVE this tea. Wrong. This blend tastes nothing of Roobios and is super overpowering with the cinnamon. Maybe it would be better iced or mixed into a cider of sorts…I don’t know. Not a fan.

Adagio has so many strange blends that end up being absolutely delicious…
