Rooibos Vanilla

Just what I needed after plowing through the snow.

One word: rich. Rich rooibos and rich vanilla make me feel the same. Easy, too: the only way to mess up this cup is to understeep, which (for people like me who forget that their tea is steeping) is a definite plus.

Last cup of the day before heading home. This should do the trick!

Honest to goodness this tea sang to me! I made a cup in my office this morning, and while it was quite, I heard something that sounded like an Indian sitar. I moved closer to the tea, and though still faint, I heard it more loudly! I moved the tea to another room, and still heard it there. I verified with a coworker, and still the sitar. After more experimentation, we verified that it was the mug, not the tea bag. After a few minutes, the song went away.

So, next up, another type of rooibos in the same mug, the same rooibos in another mug, and other combinations to see if I can replicate the music.

What a strange, but fun, start to the work week. Thanks to this Rooibos Vanilla tea!

My glass jar of this is running down to its last bits. I think I have enough left for one more steeping. I’ve had this herbal for so long… this was in my newbie days when I decided buying a pound of this seemed like a great idea. While this is a nice, comforting, caffeine-free beverage, I didn’t need to go overboard. Anyhow, those were the good ol days!

Today I needed something comforting. My husband went abroad to visit his family for 2 weeks. I wish I could go, but I can’t fly now that I am becoming super pregnant. Sad. I know that the scent and flavor has probably died down throughout the years, but this still tastes good. There is the lingering sweetness mixed with the woody taste that rooibos brings as well as nuts and the light warmth of vanilla. This feels like a warm blanket has been placed over me… I feel all cuddly! Perfect beverage for a lonely night like this.

Yum! My boyfriend made this for me! :) He came out with my huge container of Adagio’s Rooibos Vanilla and made a funny face. haha! Wait until he sees the teas coming!

This was so good! He added sugar. This one doesn’t need sugar. The vanilla is so nice and comforting.

Wow… this is another sipdown. A great tea during its long course in my cupboard! Creamy vanilla with some hint of nuts. Delicious!

Backlog… drank this last night before bed. :) Naturally sweet.

Made a blend of this and Adagio’s Peppermint. Refreshing and “creamy” at the same time.

Mixed this with Adagio’s Peppermint. Reminded me of some toothpaste I tried that was flavored vanilla mint. A good combination. Warm and refreshing. Plus, theres no caffeine, so hopefully I’ll sleep a tad earlier today. This herbal would be a great replacement to candy mints or gum. My mouth feels so fresh and clean!

I probably shouldn’t lay down for a little bit though… peppermint relaxes the lower esophageal sphincter, and I sometimes have acid reflux… >_<

These 1lb bags of tea and tisanes from Adagio are no joke! I can’t believe I still have a little of this left. I brewed this with Adagio’s peppermint, which was my go-to caffeine free mix. It still is tasty and refreshing and creamy! Mmm! Goodnight!!

Wow this is an old one. I am almost finished with this. I think I can use this about two more times. I cannot believe that in my newbie tea days I ordered 1lb of this from Adagio… I cannot believe this hasn’t gotten sour or rotten or anything either! Sounds gross, but I will drink tea until it has gone bad. This is tea is still very good! It has the nice woody nutty flavor that rooibos is known for as well as the hint of vanilla cream. Good night time beverage! :)

I bought a pound of this a while ago. This has been my favorite rooibos for a long time now. Goes great with or without sugar and/or milk. I love drinking this at night. It’s very comforting, and the vanilla doesn’t taste artificial.

I have a hard time steeping this for 7 minutes because it smells so good and I want to drink it right away! But I am waiting it out…impatiently…it’s good stuff that is for sure! YUMMY!

2 Cups! Smells Great!

This is my 2nd try of this and still enjoy it. I am beginning to think that I like this one over the Vanilla Oolong, which is a tad surprising to me. Either way…good stuff!
