So I have been super busy recently with college and I’m just dropping by to say hello and log this tea! :3
When I saw this item in stock on the site I was pretty interested; but I had no idea that the quality would be so good on the item. The tin that this is presented in is really lovely. The inside of the lid has constellations on it and the whole this is actually quite large. I won’t be able to fit it in my tea cupboard due to how full it is atm. The tea itself is just beautiful as well. There are the cornflowers, lemongrass, chamomile, and lots of tea floating around in there. You have to mix it around quite a bit as the rooibos, which makes up the largest section of the mix, tends to settle at the bottom of the tin.
Flavor wise it almost reminded me of a toned down roobios lemon cloud (which I really did not enjoy). They obviously reigned in the woodsy flavor by adding a lot of other flavors to the mix. So there is a slight herbal, lemon, and very light grapefruit flavor to this. It is a pretty great tea for the price and certainly comes well presented; which I greatly appreciate and enjoy. If anyone was on the fence about ordering one of these tins I’d suggest to do it just because of the value. Some of the weights vary, but this was 4oz+a tin for only $9 and that’s a steal compared to other big companies (cough Teavana cough).
edit :3 So in case anyone wanted to really see the inside of the tin and the tea I’ve added a picture on my blog:

So I was actually really sad on my last Adagio order that the next Zodiac Series/2012 mix that I wanted (Scorpio) was out of stock. These have been a really great value and the presentation is just amazing. Another thing that should be noted about Adagio is that their shipping far exceeds Teavana’s. Adagio’s shipping for my latest order only cost me $4 and will be here on Monday; I placed my order on the 30th. Teavana’s shipping cost $7, order placed on the 28th, and I won’t get it until next Thursday. : /
Back to this tea! This reminds me mostly of the rooibos lemon cloud, but with many more herbal notes. I’m glad it got more toned down because the original mix was not something that I enjoyed. I’m really glad Adagio offers such inexpensive samples for most of their flavored teas because there are a lot of them that I just don’t care for and the ability to try it out cheaper before investing in a larger amount really helps me keep my cupboard clean. Overall I’d say this tea is enjoyable and a great value, but would suggest this mostly to people who already enjoy the lemon cloud tea and rooibos; as those are the dominant flavors.

Today: extra leaf, accidental long steep of ~7 min. This creates a very deep, mahogany colored brew. The flavors are smooth, herbal, woodsy, and lightly citrus. This long steep actually reduced the amount of citrus flavor in the tea. The flavor becomes much deeper and brings out the chamomile. A very good tea.

I haven’t had a cup of this in quite some time now. It really is pretty pleasant and I do enjoy it; I’ve just been on a super fruit kick lately though. This tea is a bit more woodsy than I’d like. The other main flavors to me is fruit and chamomile. I am thinking of picking up another one of these tins on my next Adagio order, mostly because they are such a good value. Also, the two that I’ve tried are very nice blends.

I’m still battling a cold, so I’m relaxing with some herb teas today.
This one is much more flavorful than what I expected. There is a lot of rooibos flavor (woodsy) so this would not be a tea for everyone. It also has notes of lemon, grapefruit, and chamomile. It is extremely relaxing. The steep time can be played with a lot. I personally wanted a really dark cup today, so 5 min. it is!

The smell of this tea is intoxicating, it seeps through even when the tin it closed.
Pisces is light, yet very flavorful blend that packs a punch of all different flavors blended together. I can taste the grapefruit, chamomile, rooibos and lemongrass but none of the flavors overwhelms the other. They all come together nicely. What a treat!
