One more sample gone now – yay!

But that’s pretty much the only good thing about this tea. It tastes flat and like it’s the water used to boil some edamame or something. Maybe it is because this was stored in a plastic bag (yes, I know, shame on me) or because it is pretty old (I’ve ignored it for a couple of months and I don’t think it was all that fresh when I got it). But whatever it is, this isn’t enjoyable to me.

I’ll probably finish this cup because it isn’t awful or anything, but I don’t think I’ll try a second steep. Ever.

From the description it almost sounds like it might be better iced, what say you?

Auggy

One would hope but if a tea isn’t good hot, I don’t keep it around. Plus, I don’t think the taste of edamame water would be much better cold.

Jillian

You’ve got a point, eww.

I let the second half of the cup cool to around room temp. I could actually taste a little bit of sweet at the very beginning of the sip then but then it went back to full on edamame water.

I poured it out. Ah well!

how do you get the samplers of the Blends? I have only seen the 4oz $10 ones

Auggy

I participated in the Signature Blend box pass that was going on on the Adagio boards. So I got lots of samples of lots of blends!

A decent green tea with mango and abit of citrus with a tiny bit of vanilla.

Umm whats the difference between this and hot water with a tiny squirt of some fruit juice? The hot water felt nice and the scent was very mild yet sweet. I enjoyed the scent more than the tea. I even let this steep for longer. Maybe it is just my taste buds. Generally I like green teas and I’ve had a few flavored greens and enjoyed them. I should have tried this sample cold since the name is “A Green Chiller” but I only had a small sample of it.

Ok so second cup, I added some sugar, which I’ve never done to green teas before… tastes like sugar water. my mistake. >_<
