A Green Chiller

Green Tea by Adagio Teas

Nothing tastes better in the summer than a crisp glass of ice-cold tea. Enjoy the mellow flavors of mango and vanilla with a small splash of citron… the perfect companion to a a hot day by the pool.

Created by: Sarah Almon
Contains: mango green, vanilla green, citron green

One more sample gone now – yay!

But that’s pretty much the only good thing about this tea. It tastes flat and like it’s the water used to boil some edamame or something. Maybe it is because this was stored in a plastic bag (yes, I know, shame on me) or because it is pretty old (I’ve ignored it for a couple of months and I don’t think it was all that fresh when I got it). But whatever it is, this isn’t enjoyable to me.

I’ll probably finish this cup because it isn’t awful or anything, but I don’t think I’ll try a second steep. Ever.

A decent green tea with mango and abit of citrus with a tiny bit of vanilla.

Umm whats the difference between this and hot water with a tiny squirt of some fruit juice? The hot water felt nice and the scent was very mild yet sweet. I enjoyed the scent more than the tea. I even let this steep for longer. Maybe it is just my taste buds. Generally I like green teas and I’ve had a few flavored greens and enjoyed them. I should have tried this sample cold since the name is “A Green Chiller” but I only had a small sample of it.

Ok so second cup, I added some sugar, which I’ve never done to green teas before… tastes like sugar water. my mistake. >_<
