Okay, I was a bit nervous trying this. If it is supposed to be best iced, that usually means I will find it too fruity/tart/sweet/something hot and not enjoy it. But this was pretty good. I can’t really pick out the flavors all that well but they blend nicely to have an overall fruity taste. If pressed, I’d say the coconut can be tasted at the beginning and the pina colada gives it a fruity finish. Not sure where the lime plays in though maybe in the aftertaste I get a bit of that? I haven’t had lime tea by itself before so I don’t know the flavor well enough to pick it out. Anyway, the flavors go together nicely and the overall feeling is a bit tropical/fruity but no so much so that I forget I’m drinking tea (vs. and herbal) so I like it.

I love when people review the custom teas because you can’t buy samples of them :D I love the fruity stuff so to me this sounds like a great drink!

@Suzi: Sadly, I’m coming to the end of my custom blend samples that I got from the TeaChat board’s Signature Blend box pass (I think I only have two more) but I did end up sampling a lot of them! The average were just okay but there were a few good ones in there. This one wasn’t the best, but in the top 10, I’d say. I left a swallow in my cup for it to cool to room temp (to see how it would be iced) and the fruity sort of explodes so I imagine this would be too fruity for me when iced, however if you like the fruity stuff, that may make it right up your alley!

Oops – sorry for the double post! If anyone of those with the Power see this, would you delete one? Thanks! :)

I had a lime tea by Numi in a sampler box of bagged. I expected not to like it at all but it ended up being rather pleasant and not super tart, oddly soothing.

The name exactly describes the taste! I smell coconut! I am so sensitive to its scent and taste. And there is definitely a mild lime taste to it… especially an aftertaste. I feel like I would like to make a margarita!

I did enjoy this tea. I do wish it had a little more coconut but that is mostly because I am a huge coconut fan. Nevertheless, it was a fun tea that made me feel like a vacation was in order.
