For a relatively small Sri Lankan estate which only started producing green tea in 1995, Elpitiya produces exceptionally high quality tea. The liquor is light, well-balanced and refreshing and offers sweetness balanced with a hint of bitterness and subtle vegetal undertones. Excellent as a light, refreshing afternoon tea or after a trip to the gym.
