This is a crazy cuppa tea! I’ve heard great things about the nutritional value of this tea (even over other green teas). The continual wisking of this tea is a turn off. But the tea itself is smooth and a social experience (everyone walks by "What in the world are you drinking?).

Great smoothness with a very satisfying full cup. The Gyokuro leaf base gives to Izu Matcha a light astringent finish.
