OHHHHHHH WHERE DO I START ! ok ok so i just opend this tea and omg the smell was just teasing me, it was soooo good and fruity just amazing, tbh i was kinda afraid cause sometimes when you unseal a new tea the smell then and after it’s infued is disappointing, but this one just got better, also i don’t know about you guys but the tea reminded me of LION cerals xD LOL just saying, ok ok so in breef this tea is perfect, not my all time best but perfect.

one more thing, i think this one would be amazing as a iced tea, gonna try it soon and see, i believe its going to good

Oof, this one did not agree with my palate. All I got was an unpleasantly tart orange-y hibiscus that seemed to punch me in the tongue. I could barely finish my cup, never mind go back for a second steep. Meh!

Somehow this came out quite bland, despite using only 12 ounces of water for both sachets…

Otherwise it’s a rather generic citrusy fruit tisane. It tastes a bit like Sweet Tarts to me? Not bad, but nothing special, and I wish it had more flavor given the steeping parameters…

The slight glitter is pretty though, it’s nice to see a more restrained sparkly tea. :P

B&B Advent 2021 Day 23

This one is kind of mildly orange flavoured hot water. It looks like I said the same thing last year. Perhaps I’ll chill the rest of my mug. Ah yes, the rocket candy flavour is coming forward as this cools – not my fav.

Adventaggedon Day 24 – Tea 1/6

It’s the final day of advents and Christmas Eve!!! Aaaahh! That is honestly so hard to believe; in a lot of ways I feel like just last week was March and the beginning of the lockdown. What does it say that a year has felt so painfully long yet drastically fast!?

When I first saw this is the advent today I was a bit surprised – I really expected something more overly festive/Christmas inspired for this last day. However, it eventually clicked that Bird and Blend sort of markets this tea as a “New Years” blend, so it makes some sense for it to be the last day. Plus, I guess Mimosas/cocktails is a thing that some people do for either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

I’ve had this one before – in fact, it was the free sample that came with my advent order. It’s nice enough; a very sweet orange flavour without much else going on. That could be both a positive or a negative depending on your outlook. I had it midday with a slice of panettone (my first ever time trying it – inspired by the B&B tea from earlier in the advent) and it felt festive-ish. Festive enough.

Martin Advent Day 18
Quite tart until I added lots of sugar. I feel similarly about it as the last time I had it. I prefer other orange blends that are more complex. This one is mostly just tart orange. Not bad, just pretty one dimensional.

I am not impressed. Dry it smells like loads of oranges, so I used two teaspoons for my DIY tea bag and… not impressed with results after 5 minutes steep.

It is quite generic fruity, tends to oranges a bit, but certainly noticed hibi and rosehips. It wasn’t much fresh oranges as I have hoped, nor any other citrus fruits. Why there are in sprinkles?

I made this hot, but I’m definitely looking forward to making it iced mixed with sparkling water. It’s zesty and tart- like eating a freshly peeled orange. I’m also a sucker for the shimmer.
