A rare and fine small leafed tea with a luxurious light, clear liquor and muscatel-like fragrance. In comparaison to what you find in the market, this Darjeelings is fine since it is a first flush (which is generally more interesting aromas wise but way more difficult to find a good one…) but it was quite bland and rough, don’t know if it was old and/or badly preserved. The description says that it is a ‘rare’ tea? Well, it doesn’t mean it’s exceptionnal! Not bad but not exceptionnal.
