I enjoyed this tea a lot more than I expected. I couldn’t really taste the white tea (there was a lot less of it than in the picture on the website). It mostly tasted like a light apple juice. I think the chamomile was a great choice and perfect pairing. I only tasted a hint of the cinnamon. It’s not special enough to order, but it’s definitely refreshing. I preferred this one hot – it was comforting and well-balanced. Once it cooled, I tasted more white tea, which I don’t personally prefer. I made a cold resteep of the leaves, which ended up with almost a caramel apple flavor.

I love apple and chamomile together. (Although, based on the Brutaliteas reviews I’ve read, that sounds like a very mild-mannered flavor and name choice — unless there’s a pop culture reference I’ve missed!)

I just noticed that Harney has a Disney line now, and the one I am most interested in is a white apple….Snow White Tea, of course!

LuckyMe

Apple and chamomile sounds like a delicious combination. I always have straight chamomile but this inspires me to blend it with one of my apple flavored teas.

AJRimmer

I didn’t previously love apple in teas, but I’m very converted to apple chamomile combinations!

2021 Advent Calendar

I loved the scent of the leaves but I didn’t find that the pre steeping apple and cinnamon smells carried over into the tea. My cup tasted more like a basic Chamomile which was disappointing after my excitement from the opening sniff test.

Not a bad tea but I wanted more apple and cinnamon.

Advent Day 2

So much chamomile. The dominant smell and flavor is straight chamomile. There’s a touch of apple and maybe a whisper of cinnamon, but this is a chamomile forward tea. Maybe I just got an odd ratio of ingredients?

Roswell Strange

Oh man, maybe we got very different ratios of ingredients because I thought the cinnamon and apple were both pretty strong!

I just looked at the steeped leaf and it is mostly chamomile. I must’ve gotten an off scoop.

AJRimmer

Ha they did provide the tiniest ever portions.

I found my sample to be strong in apple/cinnamon scent but weak in flavoring. Similar to you, I found it tasted all chamomile.

Adventaggedon Day 2: Tea 2/7

This is a blend of white tea, apple, cinnamon, and chamomile. The dry leaf smelled very nice and autumnal with notes of sweet red apple and cinnamon. I knew right away what type of cinnamon it would be though – like the Valentine’s heart candies. Red hot cinnamon.

Red hot cinnamon is delicious with apple, and so it complimented really well. Apple is delicious with chamomile, and so that complimented really well. However red hot cinnamon is not great with white tea. Or, at least, I don’t personally feel so. Like, it doesn’t taste bad at all but it’s such a strong and sweet cinnamon that it drowns out the delicate white tea almost entirely and so I sort of felt like putting it on a white tea base was a bit counter productive.

I still enjoyed the overall cuppa though!
