Thank you for the generous samples and the speedy shipping, Stacy! I ordered from Butiki back in the beginning of November, when all of those horrible events happened. Unlike the amazing service I received, I was extremely slow on getting to my parcel; it actually became a Christmas gift.. Anyways, I cannot express enough how impressed I was with everything. I’m a nervous shopper so it meant a lot!

Chamomile is one of those things that I go to when I want stomach equivalent to a warm blanket hug- does that sound strange? These peculiar smelling yellow flowers are my go to herb for sleep and stress related troubles. I can’t describe what chamomile tastes like but it can be sweet, smooth, soft, warm, and a tad creamy in a mild floral way.. that’s on the vague side.

The fruity tart ingredients, particularly the goji berries, allured me to this particular blend. It was the sweet and sour creamy profile that won me over. I think I’m detecting mostly apple flavour and goji berries, with shades of citrus. The tartness is subtle in a fresh juicy manner. Clean and comforting- what more could I ask for before going to bed for the night after a long day? The fruit and floral notes are impressively full despite my being economic on the leaf measurement.

I think this just nabbed the spot for my favourite chamomile blend. I’m glad I was able to get a sample of this! Already thinking about the amount I should buy and the theoretical pretty tin I will put it in.

this was one of those random purchases from Stacy where I was trying to do something with the dollar value and needed another tea to balance things out. Since i have a ton of teas with lots of caffeine i picked this one for when i have people over who don’t want any. This is pretty nice. It’s nothing with a WOW factor but then i wasn’t expecting that. It’s a nice, calming evening tea for relaxing with. If you like chamomile tea – this is a nicer version that your generic type brand from most places :)

Bumping the rating on this one since it’s growing on me :) It’s in my sipdown pile for the week and I may just need to pick up a bit more once it’s all gone. Even cold the flavours are nicely balanced. Not a hueg fan of chamomile blends, but since it’s nice to have at least one in the house, this will be my go too since it’s the best one i’ve found so far!

Backlog I had this the other night to try and help me get to sleep. Work’s been a little crazy these days and I discovered that this tea makes me sleeeepy! I’m ok with that as it’s a really tasty tea that is fantastic. Nice to have a great cup of tea before drifting off to bed.

I haven’t yet actually tasted any chamomile on its own, so I’m not sure if I can discern it from the other tastes in this. But wow is this a calming drink! I’m drinking it before bed in order to wind down, and it seems entirely perfect for that.

The smell on both the loose tea and the brewed liquid never seemed terribly citrus-like to me, but on tasting it I can pick out more of the apple and lemon. This one seems to sometimes have that same delicious creaminess to it that I love in Butiki’s Cataloupe & Cream too.

Received a sample in my order from Butiki…

This is a great way to end a day of tea. I am ready to Citrus Dream off to slumberland. A delightful mix of chamomile blossoms and fruit. Not tart, not sweet, just soft and pleasant. I can’t taste much of the goji or lemon grass, they are very subtle. I am getting mostly apple and chamomile with a touch of orange. I happen to like chamomile but if you don’t I would of course avoid this. It’s like Sleepytime tea x 10 in terms of flavor and beauty. Very well done for an herbal – another winner from Butiki.

Alright, here we go! :) I’ve been needing to find an herbal tea I enjoy hot, since I’ve discovered recently that tea caffeine really does keep me awake, even if I don’t feel jittery or anything. Plus I wanted to try out a chamomile in loose form for the first time, plus I wanted free shipping on my Butiki order. So it all just made sense to try this! :)

Dry leaf, they look very pretty. Not gonna lie though, they don’t look terribly pretty after they’ve steeped… Something about the way the middle parts of the flowers go, it looks kinda … Hmm. Moving away from the infuser now…

The scent of the tea is pleasantly lemony, and sweet and ends with a flower finish. The taste adds more; a strong yet not overpowering apple flavor, and an almost mint like note? Perhaps the “mint” is the goji berries, as I honestly have no idea how those taste.

This herbal is very nice. It’s complex while still being delicate, sweet without being saccharine, and very flavorful. Absolutely no need to “wake” up the flavor with sugar at all! A very nice tisane. I’ll drink through my 1/2 ounce, and if I’m still enjoying this as much as I am now — I’m a bit weird when it comes to herbals — then I think I’ll order up some more!
