I didn’t have enough left yesterday morning to make it in my carry mug. :( So I decided to throw it in my smaller thermos travel mug with cold water and put it in the fridge. I didn’t want to oversteep this one on the first try, so I pulled the leaves out after about 11 hours and put it back in the fridge overnight.

I love it. I didn’t sweeten it, but I will try that next time, once my order gets here. I also will probably just let this go for longer, too. It’s really nice, though, and I’m really glad I did it. Definitely a winner!!

Definitely going to get some of this when I place my next Butiki order!

It’s definitely a nice tea for in the morning. Stephanie had a great idea and Butiki Teas executed it really well.

I’m totally ordering this too! I’m so happy it was also good as a cold brew :-)

I’m new to guayusa and this is definitely a tasty introduction and a nice change from my morning cup of coffee without the caffeine sacrifice. I can predominately taste the lime in this brew but there is definitely a hint of blackberry which amps up the flavor. A winner in my book!

Stephanie you are a genius! I’ve never had a guayusa before and this was a great introduction. I wanted something refreshing and comforting and this fits the bill. I’ve been coveting this since I saw it on Stacy’s site and read your review.

It’s well balanced and the lime complements the blackberry without being to tart but it’s still there. I’m not sure what guayusa by itself tastes like but it serves as a nice base for this blend. I’m sure as I sample more blends guayusa I’ll be able to understand how the separate flavors fit together better but I’m very pleased with this tea.

One question to anyone who reads this. Can guayusa be resteeped?

It resteeps very well, pretty much like maté, don’t be afraid to let it steep a long time :-)

Butiki’s guayusa blends are unmatched, IMO! This one sounds delicious.

Thats great to hear. How much to you usually increase second(third) steepings by?

Definitely try this one. It’s truly amazing.

Unless I do short infusions with straight teas, I rarely resteep, but guayusa takes it well. I do 6 min. first, and second a good 10 minutes. But I’m a heavy steeper, lol. Don’t remember what Stacy recommends for Guayusa.

I’m so glad people are liking this :D

In case you didn’t see my note in the “what did you get in the mail today thread” this tea was the BEST surprise! Stacy liked my idea from the custom blend contest so much that she made it even though it didn’t win! I got an ounce of it in the mail yesterday and I had no idea it was coming t wait to hear what everyone else things about it! :D

Thanks again, Stacy!

On my shopping list… I have to finish off some Butiki teas before I can justify getting more, but I’m excited by all the new ones!

Awesome that Stacy did that! My Hubby would probably love the blend, he likes berry teas and line in his cokes.. So I’m thinking he would go for this one.

I’ve been drinking it a LOT and giving samples to friends, so I already need to order more :D

I really like this. Thanks so much for giving Stacy the idea!
