There is a very gentle green tea scent on this tea after infusion but it has a powerful Sencha Taste! VERY Green Tea! By the time I get to the end of the sip it calms down a little bit almost resembling a celery-type taste. Not bad at all!

This is a very nice Sencha with a smooth, sweet flavor. A nice vegetative taste – a bit like steamed vegetables … spinach, perhaps? – but without the prominent buttery notes that I often associate with Sencha tea. Yes, I’m definitely getting a spinach like taste here, although the flavor of the cup is really quite gentle.
