From California Tea House

If you like Jasmine Tea you have to try our Jasmine Pearl. We start with fine Chinese Dragon Pearl green tea and take it to a new level by adding fresh Jasmine flowers for fragrance and added flavor to create California Tea House’s very own Jasmine Pearl.

Our Chinese Dragon Pearl is made from hand picked single buds from the ‘Fuding Dahao’ tea plant variety. The buds are then refined by hand into tiny ‘pearls’. It is a very refreshing green tea and even more so with our added Jasmine tea punch.

I’ve now tried this Jasmine tea hot and cold and it is delicious both ways. I’m going to try it again hot. I can’t decide which way I like it better. I’ve been chilling the tea in the refrigerator and serving in a chilled glass, but I’m not using any ice. I don’t want to water it down at all. Does anyone else have any ‘chilled tea’ ideas?

Cover the pearls with ice (no water); once the ice melts you have iced tea (the cold temperature of the ice should work just as well to brew it as hot temp). Sounds simple, and takes a while, but it works well.

Just the right tea for me today. The taste is just as good as it smells.

To me, this is the perfect match of traditional and herbal tea. Aroma is great. Using about 9 pearls, I will steep them two times in a pot and get about 4 cups of jasmine delight. Seems the flavor goes quickly if you do not keep the package air tight…. compared to other teas.
