Cherries, Kiwis, and almonds! Who dreamed this one up? Who cares, it’s so delicious you can be thankful anyway.

Ingredients:
Cherry pieces, kiwi pieces, and coconut slivers.

So, Amanda, if you happen to be reading this… I almost have a suspicion that this tea and Mahamosa’s Cherry Kiwi Coconut Fruit are the same tea. I guess I’ll be able to find out shortly. I’m definitely getting similar flavours here, and there are huge pieces of tasty cherry, and the ingredients seem to be the same… Again though, like with Roasted Almond, this wouldn’t be a bad thing, since I’m such a fan! And it’s nice to find alternate suppliers. I just would almost prefer to be trying something new and different instead of something I’ve had before.

The aroma is fruity and cherry-like, although definitely not cough syrup; it’s a real cherry sort of aroma (and flavour) here. Same with the flavour. Light cherry, general fruitiness, a bit of creaminess perhaps from the coconut. Can’t really taste the kiwi, but it could be doing something in there. I’d like this to be stronger though; already used 2 heaping tsp for a maybe 10 oz. mug, so will have to try more next time.

Delicious cold-brewed. And very similar/the same as Mahamosa’s Cherry Kiwi Coconut Fruit.

Also, it’s funny how the ingredients listed don’t match up to what’s in the tea, because there are definitely cranberry pieces and apple in here… in fact, they’re obvious in the tea that’s pictured here! So why only cherries, kiwi, and coconut are listed, I have no idea.

Anyways, it’s good :D

One thing I’ve been noticing about Caraway’s teas though, is that I swear there’s extra sediment at the bottom of my cup when I’m drinking them. It could be fruit pieces or something, but it looks like sand, and I’m really worried that that’s what it is. I don’t remember seeing it in teas prior, but have experienced in more than once in the teas from Caraway (particularly the fruity ones). Anyone else?

Infused for 10 minutes

The dry leaf smells overwhelmingly like cherry-flavoured “Jolly Rancher” hard candy.

Tastes just like a cherry-flavoured “Jolly Rancher” close to the end of the sip and very much so in the immediate aftertaste. There is a hibiscus-like tartness which complements the blend. Very fruity flavour near the middle of the sip.

There does seem to be a sand-like sediment at the bottom of my cup. I can tell that it’s gritty because it makes a scraping noise when I move it around my mug with a spoon.

Thank Kittenna for sharing some of this with me.

I didn’t get any of this when I ordered from Caraway because it says almond in the description…yet it’s not an ingredient. Whaaaatever. And like Kittenna said, it’s pretty clear just from the picture this isn’t just cherry, kiwi, and coconut.

This is a lot like my beloved Cherry Kiwi Coconut, but it seems like it requires more to make a cup. I think possibly it tastes like there are more apple pieces to it also.

At least there is something to go to when I’m out of that one. I probably should have just used the whole sample to make the iced tea cup of this but I was going by the other tea’s standards. Still eerily close though.

It’s mostly a watered down tart apple cherry juice taste, but it’s so close to that Mahamosa tea….just about the same price too. Weird.

Thanks, Azzrian!

Thanks Kittenna for the sample!
Wowwwww cherry. Dude. I love cherry. Love it! Not so much on the kiwi, though it does balance things out. Coconut, well I’m ok with it here. Not too scratchy on the throat or overly sweet either.
Overall, a nice blend that I think would do well iced. Perfect for my midafternoon caffeine break (err, that is… break from caffeinated teas!)

Sip down! Thanks to kittenna for the sample. I did this one as a cold brew and its pretty tasty. Again, nothing I MUST have in my cupboard but it was nice to have. The fruit and nuts blends nicely in a cold brew….though there are a lot of floaters :)

Technically this is sip down #6. #5 was Blazing Strawberry, but I realized I had previously tried it jot and it still does nothing for me.

Onto the tea at hand. The dry notes smell artificially fruity. As it does once steeped. I saw a little chuck of kiwis in there.
Fruity… apple-ish… cherry, yum. So far no nuttiness. This should he called fruit salad. I feel like I can taste a million different fruit in this all playing off each other.
This is a good-un. Too bad i only got a sample. I bet this would also be great cold.
