My husband has the flu. I don’t want to get the flu. So I am hoping this will help me avoid it. (I don’t do flu shots… I avoid shots whenever possible)

This has a much lighter flavor and texture to it than I expected with the hibiscus in it. I think that next time I brew this, I can actually try to go longer than 5 minutes (which is my usual steep time for anything with hibiscus in it). It has a nice lemony flavor in the background, and a berry flavor up front. It doesn’t taste medicinal. It tastes herbal-y, but not medicinal.

Not bad at all… this is certainly better than a flu shot.

Having another cup – this time, I steeped for eight full minutes, and the hibiscus still does not dominate the cup, which is a very pleasant surprise, indeed. I really like this tisane! It’s quite good!

I raised the numeric rating slightly, because I am so impressed with the blend.

a local punk dive bar has this on the menu. it’s tonic and kinda bold. great for the long sip on a late evening out with friends. (i also hear it’s nice with some whiskey in it).

meh.

It’s not bad but it doesn’t really taste like much…but…if it does the trick!?

Anyhow…it lingers with the lemon but not much else. During the sip I can taste the chamomile…not really sure how I feel about this one to be honest…
