“The aromatic Oregon- and Washington-grown peppermint we’ve selected for this tea tastes so fresh and delicious that it requires no accompaniment – it’s the only ingredient here. I’ve been drinking this one almost exclusively for the last week and a half due to a life-long digestion issue that has become more and more intense and disturbing.

Because of this…I have changed to a HIGH Raw and near vegan diet. Roughly 90% of my food intake has been raw for the last week. I’m thinking this is my new norm. I have laid of the tea for a bit and have just done minty tisanes. BUT…I will be getting back into REAL tea SOON.

As for this one it’s Peppermint and nothing else. I have been drinking this to sooth my stomach and intestines, etc. It seems to be doing the trick. It’s minty and soothing yet cooling and comforting.

backlogging way too many cups of this! I finished the box yesterday!

BTW…I’m looking for people to FOLLOW my Blog here
http://blissfulyogajourney.blogspot.com/

Each month I am going to do a give-away on my blog and choose a random follower. I hope you will join me! :)

Having a cup to cleanse the palate and get minty fresh breath…ahhhh

I’ve STILL been drinking this…back logging about 12 cups :)

But…I’m BACK :)
Missed you all!

Bizarre.

This came in the herbal sampler pack. My friend bought it for when DEV came to sing at our school, but DEV didn’t want it, so she gave it to me instead.

I didn’t really know what I wanted for tea, but I picked up this box, and there was a peppermint.

It doesn’t really taste like peppermint, though. It’s minty, but at the same time there’s a weird taste to it. It’s like it tastes like there’s tarragon and licorice in there as well. Maybe it’s not good quality peppermint? I never have this problem with Harney.

Oh well.

I gave this box to Mum, who likes mint tea. I don’t, really, but kept two bags for myself: one to try hot, and one to try cold. If I loved mint tea, I would probably like this quite a lot. It’s a simple, straight-forward thing, with a soothing, pleasant flavour. I took a few sips and then dropped in an orange Airborne tablet, since I’m still feeling crummy. The resulting orangey, minty brew tasted better than “meh” but not as good as “num.” The important thing is, though, that it made me feel like I was giving those cooties a paddlin’.

Tea amount: 1 bag
Water amount: 6oz/~175mL

I’m still alive :) Busy times.
I’ve been getting hooked back on coffee since we haven’t had money to order tea online and there’s no good tea available to buy where I live.
Bought a box of this since I ran out of my organic peppermint from David’s. And it’s not too bad. Always got to have some peppermint around for digestive issues. I used to buy Twinings when I had to buy boxed, but sometimes it tastes so gross..very inconsistent. I’m going to call them about it.
Hope everyone’s doing well and enjoying a safe Halloween weekend. :)

I am prone to migraine headaches. Very bad ones. My vision goes and I can barely move. I’ve been searching for a natural remedy for years because stuffing myself full of aspirin and sleeping it off just wasn’t working. A friend suggested trying peppermint tea. I don’t know why and she didn’t either. But it works. A couple of sips of this tea and my migraine was gone.

Even without the migraine eradicating properties—for which I am eternally grateful—-this was a lovely cup of tea. Flavorful and simple yet tasty. It was also quite strong with the mint which I really appreciated. I didn’t add any sweetener this time around but a pinch of rock sugar or honey would be lovely.

I did oversteep this by quite a bit because I needed it to be super strong but normally I’d steep it for 4 or 5 minutes.

A very tasty mint tea – I’m drinking it tonight for an upset tummy. :( It certainly helps, and it’s quite refreshing. I added a few drops of honey.

So strong it should be called “Blow Your Head Off With Mint”.

So this isn’t Celestial Seasonings, but Steepster won’t let me add this tea, so I’m forced to write under a different name. This is Good & Delish Peppermint and it’s cheap, drugstore tea. It’s pure peppermint and nothing else, so it’s pretty good. It’s not as good as when I pick peppermint from our yard in the summer, but it’s relaxing for when I’m at work.

The walnut tea from this morning left a burnt sensation in my mouth, so I needed something soothing. It’s almost like it burned me, but I didn’t drink it when it was THAT hot, so it must be some weird reaction I’m having to the tea. It’s NOT a pleasant sensation. Hopefully the peppermint will wipe it out completely.

it reminds me of a candy cane, its good, im glad i tried it! now i want to try this loose leaf to see if its better (prob is lol)
i dont normally drink herbal teas but everyones reviews of minty teas has got me in a mint mood! i think this would be delicious if i added hot chocolate to it :) i wont because im already relaxed on the couch :p

Perhaps I’m doing something wrong here. This is the second time I’ve tried this particular flavor. The first, I allowed the bag to steep for 4 1/2 minutes as directed (I felt 6 min was a bit too long) and it was quite bitter with only the slightest hint of mint. Tasted more like a cough drop than anything else. 2nd time around, just a few moments ago, I steeped for 2 minutes and, sadly, had the same result. Won’t be trying this one again anytime soon.

Another in my Celestial Seasonings’ Herbal Tea Sampler. I Added about 1/2 tsp of sugar.

I’m drinking this about 10 AM. The mouth feel is definitely minty and I think if I were at home I’d add agave rather than sugar. It’s tasty as long as I don’t let it cool down, but it doesn’t seem to be helping my slight sinus headache. The vague unsettled stomach is better, though.

I believe I would have to consider this one a medicinal — not sure I would drink it by itself for enjoyment, but I may try adding it to an uninspiring black tea at some point.

Tried this again this morning added to a black tea – Harney’s English Breakfast, a “silken bagged” Keemun. One bag of Harney’s, one bag of the mint, steeped about 4 minutes, added half and half.

This made for quite a tasty and refreshing late-morning-post-meeting-wakemeup. I’ll be adding somebody’s mint to my cupboard for a blending tea, and it may very well be this one.

I love a good strong peppermint flavor. This really works for that. The longer it steeps, the more menthol-y it gets. good stuff. I think Twinnings does a strong peppermint, but this one is nearly as good and less costly. I’m all for it. I wish I had some right now…

I somehow ended up with food poisoning last week and I couldn’t eat anything or really even keep anything but water down. Boyfriend braved leaving me to my own devices long enough to dash out and pick up a box of CS Peppermint for me, since we both thought it’d help.

Help it did. Great, strong peppermint flavor if you leave it to steep 5+ minutes. It really soothes the stomach and throat from the strain of constant hurling. And it’s just straight up peppermint leaves, so it really works as a strongly brewed tincture as well. Great herbal remedy for sour stomach. A pinch of ginger also helps :-)

Had a teabag of this left over from a trip we took to New Mexico. It was exactly what I expected it to be.

I really enjoy this tea, and it seems more innately sweet than most peppermint teas. It actually reminds me more of a candy cane than straight peppermint, so the art on the box is really appropriate. It’s great nonetheless, especially with milk or cream.

A mild refreshing perk-me-up tea with clean crisp whiffs of peppermint. Drinking this adds a coat of soothing mint to my throat. Comforting. I’ve read somewhere that it relieves indigestion and migraines. Good functional tea I guess, but I’m not too fond of mint teas.. yet. Perhaps I’ll steep this along with one of my other favourites the next time.

I love love love mint tea! This is so fantastic for upset tummies. It’s definitely not subtle, so be prepared to be knocked on your ass by it.
