Rooibos Yerba maté Blend by Compass Teas
Almost identical to Everyone’s Favorite Blend, Vanilla Cinnamon Bun, but designed to give you the natural stimulating energy of Yerba Mate, which increases its effectiveness as a diet tea, too! (This is for everyone who said they needed more energy and, “I don’t want that Caffeine-Free stuff!”) We suggest sweetening it with Amber Sugar Gems.
This blend contains Yerba Mate, which is a natural and nutritious stimulant that is said to help provide mental clarity, improve digestion, burn fat, relieve pain, enhance memory & immunity, and has a reputation for being a great energy & mood lifter.

This is highly scented…much like Cinnamon Buns. This is Smooth and Yummy. Sweet yet semi cakey for a rooibos…and the cinnamon is very much like the powder you put on the actual cinnamon bun top instead of a spicy-taste or texture.

So, like many other Steepsterites, I’m making an attempt at Spring Cleaning! Part of this (okay, most of this) is clearing out all my samples! So, I have a big pile of stuff that I have set out on my counter that I’m going to try to get through by the end of the weekend!
This was one of the teas sent to me by LiberTEAS. This smells absolutely DIVINE! Like an actual cinnamon bun, sweet and slightly spicy! The taste is pretty darn good, too! This tastes a lot like a cinnamon bun, with a little bit of tang that I can’t put my finger on, but I’d blame it on the hibiscus and the orange peel. A nice, sweet, frosting taste comes out at as an aftertaste, and it’s absolutely delicious!
Hooray! That makes two teas today that are really good! Let’s keep this going!
I’m liking this much better than the Vanilla Cinnamon Bun tisane, which I found tasty but a little disappointing. The Yerba Mate manages to cancel out some of that orange-y flavor that I found so disturbing in the Vanilla Cinnamon Bun, and makes for a smoother, cinnamon bun-like experience.
This is really good, and it’s waking me up (and since it’s 1:04 in the afternoon, I need to wake up).
