This is a VERY Creamy Earl Grey…emphasis on the cream and black tea a hint of the bergamot. Nice twist on the EG…decent flavored cuppa! :)

Earl grey tea has been a favorite of mine since I was little, but I haven’t had much experience with EGC so I ordered a few different ones to try out. I hope to add one to my regular rotation of teas just to change things up a little. I’m looking forward to the day where I can compare these side by side, but I’ll have to wait for now since I’m ready to head off traveling again soon.

My first sip of this was when it was still very hot and was surprised by the lack of astringency that I normally notice when I drink an EG before it has cooled off. This was one creamy EGC, I got the vanilla straight off, but it completely takes over this blend. I really like the black base they used for this although it doesn’t stand out as much as I would have liked, this ends up being pretty mild and I like my EG a bit stronger. This may change if I go with a longer steep time, for my first cup I went on the lower end to be safe.

I think that this would make a great tea latte so I’ll have to play around with that soon.

This is another treat from TeaEqualsBliss! Thanks!!!

I love me some Earl Grey, and this is a really lovely Cream Earl Grey. The aroma presents the vanilla in the forefront, as does the taste, but the bergamot weaves its way throughout the sip. The black tea brisk without being too aggressive. A very nice, soothing cuppa!

Finishing off what I have on hand of this tea … it’s been a “sipdown” kind of day for me.

A lovely Earl Grey cream. It almost makes me miss the days when I was blending tea, as I had a pretty awesome Earl Grey Creme myself. But, this is still pretty good. Sweet and creamy meets tangy bergamot and brisk black tea. A very lovely combination.

I brewed this for only the second time today since the mother was in town. For the life of me, I don’t know why I waited so long to revisit it. It’s exactly what you hope for in a promised title like “cream Earl Grey”. The high quality Ceylon tea base and vanilla/bergamot pairing work to outstanding effect to create a very sweet cup without the need for sugar. I also don’t know why I haven’t latte’d this yet. Tomorrow, maybe.

I feel this black tea is very astringent, I never use boiling water to brew. It’s a good cream earl grey. I was spoiled by having another, so I compared it to that. I drank it with rice milk and sugar. Very tasty treat. Served it over ice, too. Though I feel I need sugar with it, so I won’t drink it much.

A nice tea. Milder than Culinary’s regular Earl Grey, this is a very sweet and aromatic. i like this version of the Cream Earl Grey. I recommend trying it.

Fantastic Earl Grey! The vanilla in this tea makes it wonderfully creamy and goes well with the bergamot. I think I like this tea more than Culinary’s standard Earl Grey; there is no bitterness in this cup. It is just very smooth and is meant to be savored.
