From Adagio Custom Blends

“We speak of my homeland, and for all its wine and its dark-haired beauties and the lillo flutes of the minstrels… I miss the leather the most. To this day the smell of fresh leather is what reminds me most of home more than anything else.”

In this blend inspired by a certain charming assassin, the damp, earthy aroma and flavor of pu erh black tea brings to mind well-worn Antivan leather. Luxurious cream and a dash of sweet caramel soften the edges of the blend and add a sensual decadence, while a touch of cinnamon adds just a hint of danger.

No way affiliated with Bioware. This tea blend is just created by a fan and inspired by the world of Thedas.

Having this right after some chocolate. It was not my favorite. I mean, who puts freeze dried raspberries in chocolate anyways? shakes head I should’ve picked up another Dagoba lavender bar. They’re amazing.
Back to tea! Well, This smells very nice dry, I can smell a bit of cinnamon and the caramel. Other than that, mainly smells of black tea. Once steeped it is pretty intense in the pu’erh department. And just a bit oily (a thing I tend to not like). But this tastes quite good! I like pu’erh quite a bit and the other flavors are there just enough to make it taste really rich. It isn’t hiding the pu’erh at all and I think that’s a great thing about this one

I thought I already reviewed this! Drank over the weekend, AT my computer. How silly of me.

Leather is an accurate description for this. Think worn, aged, black leather. None of that soft english leather. I believe this was my first Pu-erh blend I’ve had, and I think that lead to the smoky quality in this tea. It was very strong to me, relatable to black coffee (can you tell I’m new to tea?). But not bitter or biting.

I enjoyed it, and will be making a butter tea out of this in the future.
