GIDDAPAHAR AUTUMN SUNSHINE

Black Tea by DARJEELING TEA LOVERS

GIDDAPAHAR AUTUMN SUNSHINE; (AUTUMN FLUSH 2012; BLACK TEA)

A very exquisite tea from the house of GIDDAPAHAR TEA ESTATE. The dry leaves are very well sorted with prominent SILVER in between reminding that this is A PURE CHINA TEA. The aroma of the dry leaves is light and evokes thoughts of cool, crisp air of autumn. It has a clean and invigorating aroma with a very light ‘orange’ note. The brewed liquor has a very musky fragrance that reminds of the wonderful 2nd Flush.

The taste is what this tea is all about. Very clear liquor with bold notes of muscatel. The mouth-feel is very soft and velvet – like. There is also a hint of BLACK CURRANT AND THIS TEA FINISHES OFF WITH a WINE-LIKE SWEETHESS WITHOUT ANY BITTERNESS. There is very little astringency in this tea which is very surprising. It’s a very smooth and pleasant cup to make your evenings brighter.

DRY LEAVES: Fine cut golden brown leaves.
LIQUOR: Dark orange with a MUSCATEL LIKE aroma.
INFUSION: Coppery-Brown leaves with a twang of MINT.

STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS:
