From DarjeelingTeaXpress

Origin: Darjeeling
Tea Estate: Gopaldhara DJ-205
Colour: Black
Grade: F.T.G.F.O.P.1
Flush: Second
Type: Single Estate
Weight: 100 grams
Length of infusion: 3 mins 30 seconds
Water temperature: 90°C

Dry leaves
Aspect: Large leaves, with few broken and downy buds
Colours: Black dark brown with few silver buds
Scents: Rich buttery, toasted, breadcrumb with few planty notes

Brewed leaves (infusion)
Colours: Mainly brown with touches of green
Scents: The first notes are floral and sweet, with almond, fruit and vanilla (cooked fruit). A sweet underlying note of butter.

Liquor
Colour: A gleaming orange liquor
Texture: Supple to start, become powdery at the back of the mouth, giving this a wonderful length
Flavour: Slight acidity and bitterness
Aromas: Herbal notes (camphor, rosemary, thyme) with slightly woody characteristics
Aromatic profile and length in the mouth: Intense from the start, with wonderful lingering quality combining bitter notes and planty

Our verdict: A sweet tea with slight bitterness, this unique tea from Gopaldhara gives a wonderful length in the mouth. This is a great tea for people who are sometimes put off by the strong taste of Darjeeling second flush teas
