Castleton is a grand marque among the many fine gardens of Darjeeling. Planted about 125 years ago just south of the District town of Kurseong, this small, high-quality estate is reputed to be 100% China jat bushes. The tremendous care taken by Castleton during tea culture, plucking and manufacture results in teas known consistently for their lovely muscatel aroma and flavor.

This tea is more floral than anything, with a slight fruity scent and taste.

The black tea flavor can be quite rich and full as well, which compliments the floral flavors.

This seems like a perfect after dinner tea, as it is dark and deep and rich for an evening delight.
