From David's Tea

Fasten your seatbelt

There’s something about a kiwi fruit that just makes us smile. It could be their cute round shape, or their fuzzy skin, or their bright green colour. But we think the best thing about a kiwi is the taste – like a cross between a peach and a melon, only better. So it goes without saying that this kiwi-spiked green tea is a real treat. From the second the aroma hits you, you know you’re in for something special. Sweet, fruity, tart and lively, it’s an adventure you won’t soon forget.

When I tried a sample of this in the store I really liked it. Enough to bring home a tin of it. I couldn’t get it right at home. I always found it too tart, which I really don’t like in teas. After several brewing attempts, I had no luck, and tried it cold brewed. Still no luck – but my fault as I brewed too long and it became bitter as well. I was able to finally finish the tin, but will probably not buy again. This was just too tart for my liking.

I like this one! It is like a straight green tea, but with hints of kiwi. A refreshing blend.

I first bought it since I’ve never tasted a kiwi flavoured tea. I was really intrigued and the smell was nice. The actual drink was refreshing, but it wasn’t really my cup of tea. I didn’t dislike it, but I didn’t really like it either. This tea would probably suit someone that wouldn’t mind the dryness in the mouth that I felt after sipping this.

So a good description of how you felt about it would be “kirai janai desu” ?
