Forever Nuts

Herbal Tea by DAVIDsTEA

For almond lovers
It looks all normal when it’s loose. But steep it and you’ll see that it’s nuts. Within seconds, this tempting jumble of almond slices and chunks, apple bits and cinnamon bark starts turning a crazy shade of pink. Why? Because it contains a hint of beetroot. That’s what gives this rich almond tea its earthy depth and its all-natural signature colour. Deliciously nutty, decidedly addictive.

Ingredients: Apple, almond, cinnamon, beetroot.

When it’s in the bag/tin, the smell of Forever Nuts is divine- it’s like those delicious mini donuts sold at fairs! Once steeped however, the smell dissipates and you can tell just from the scent that the tea is fairly weak. The flavor is still there a bit though, so it’s accented nicely with sweetener and a bit of hot milk.

Plus the fact that it brews to a hot pink color is fantastic as well!

Honestly, after reading the above tea reviews I was reallly, really, surprised.
This herbal tea, is a mixture of different nuts, like almonds and thrown in is apple and beetroot (which gives it the adorable pink colour)
This tea definitely need sweetener or it’s bland. The sweetener, (I use agave, just a little squirt not too much). And, it’s absolutely delicious!
You can drink this anytime of the day and my boyfriend who actually really doesn’t love tea, fell in love with this tooo!
Highly recommend this tea :) mmmm

One of the only teas I’d really appreciate during any time of the day, especially would be excellent staying up late, it’s decaffinated but definately puts me on the edge of my seat!

Drink it as a tea? Nahhh…. definately make a latte out of it, certainly worth it, and to add just a little honey makes it to die for. The flavour itself almost makes me think “nostalgic”, or “children’s tea”, but that’s no excuse for everyone to drink it! It’s like a Never Neverland in a cup.

I can never get enough of this “tea”. My husband, who is not normally a fan of sweet drinks, also loves it.

This smells like a mild apple cider. It tastes of apple, spices, and a hint of almond.
I think it tastes a lot better than an average spiced cider, and it has a lovely deep pink color when you brew it.
It’s very light, and has a warmth to it that is enjoyable during the colder seasons.

Personally, I enjoy having this all the time. Because it is so sweet and not full of caffeine.

Recently I was making some pulled pork in my crockpot (just a pork pot roast, onions, chilli sauce, etc). Since pork goes well with fruity things I brewed a cup of Forever Nuts and dumped it in my mixing bowl along with other seasonings. Then poured everything over the roast and let it sit in there for about 10 hours.

I’m really glad that the finished product was not too sweet. The Forever Nuts is pretty noticeable while you’re eating, but it’s kind of a different flavor because its been mixed with a bunch of other ingredients.

The recipe is pretty average, but if you want it just send me a private message.

Fun tea, and I love nuts, but the tea needed something. too bland for me, but I would consider trying it again with some agave in it. Had it in store so unsure of steep time/temp.

I honestly have yet to really try this tea on it’s own but I have loved mixing it with David’s “Blueberry Jam” and other berry based teas! Not so much love after the first steep though.

I LOVE Forever Nuts!!! The aroma by itself is enough to make your mouth water, it smells like Christmas :) I bought this today and I will forever buy Forever Nuts. Although it’s not really nutty it has a very strong apple flavor, which is the main reason I love it. Definitely a new favorite of mine.

DOWNRIGHT AMAZING. I love drinking this before bedtime, or at the end of a long shift at work when I need something to look forward to. Nutty, with just a hint of apple. So amazing that I want to make two cups in a row!

This tastes like cinnamon and happiness. It’s easy on the stomach and very relaxing.

‘a tea made of nuts, apples and BEETS?’ i thought to myself. cool. it smelled interesting. i had read mixed reviews, but i like to think i’m open minded…. and beets are grand. the hot water did it’s magic and the tea changed from crunchy looking to fluffy. again it smelled good…

sadly, i must review that while the colour was striking and the smell continued to pique my interest, the beverage itself did very little for me. HOWEVER, the idea behind it was sound. i will consider this a work in progress and re-evaluate in a year.

I simply love this beverage. I have read the odd review that gives it a thumbs down because it doesn’t taste like nuts. TO each their own- I love the smell the most. It makes me think of baked goods. I love the taste- but I let it steep a super long time so it is as strong as it can be. As far as I am concerned it couldn’t be too strong.

This is by far the best smelling tea I’ve tried yet! It smells like pie and I just want to have that scent with me all day long! It doesn’t taste as good it smells, which is too bad, but it’s still very pleasant. Definitely a keeper for the winter!

Warm fun winter tea- sweet and pretty pink, easy to drink, lacks depth or complication but is fun for a nice evening beverage to warm you up before bed. Not acidic- pretty mellow stuff.

This tea is pretty addictive because of the almonds and the cinnamon. One of the best!

This has to be one of the yummiest smelling teas… like a spicy, fruity cookie maybe. It was much better for me as an iced tea than hot. I took it to work with me until I used up the sample.

Steeped it for the full 7 minutes, added Spenda as I do to mostly all of the teas and it was sooo yummy! Like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal!

First brew was done at work without the proper infuser—the shipment came a day early and I wasn’t prepared and of course couldn’t wait until I got home to try it! Have heard such great things about this tea, will defintely give it another chance.

Much better this time around! On the advice of cityofpink, steeped it for 7 full minutes and it very yummy!

Maybe yes – pleasantly cheeky name with the word “forever” in it. @whoisnpy commented it tastes like a cinnamon bun!

I am now a fruity-herbal tea convert. Yes, it isn’t the strongest tea in the tin, but it’s perfect for early mornings or light brunches. The best part is, after I finish brewing myself a cup, I simply toss the blend into some oatmeal. So delicious, simple, and subtle.

I’ve got to be honest – I enjoy cooking and baking with this tea more than drinking it. Drinking-wise – I enjoy it every now and then, but I can’t wrap my head around its popularity. It has an almost buttery cinnamon taste, with a little bit of apple [I’m assuming the almonds give it the buttery texture].
