From DAVIDsTEA

Kiss me, kiss me

Okay, this is probably the world’s best chocolate tea. Honestly. Better than dessert. More reliable than sex. It’s a totally decadent combination of China black tea, vanilla, peppermint, chocolate bits and spicy red peppercorns. Plus it contains little red candy lips for a kiss of sweetness. In other words, it’s a completely satisfying spring experience with no guilt or strings attached.

Ingredients: Chinese black tea, peppermint, dark chocolate (Sugar, chocolate liquor, cocoa butter, soy lecithin and vanilla), red lip sprinkles (sugar, rice flour, cottonseed or soybean oil, cornstarch, gum and soy lecithin, colouring), pink peppercorns, natural and artificial flavouring*.

Allergens: Soy and may contain dairy

To me, this is the PERFECT cup of black tea. It’s refreshing, it’s energizing, and it’s also got a dark sweetness to it that isn’t over the top!
I’m not usually a fan of dessert or chocolate teas at all, but this blend puts in the right amounts of everything to make it work. The mint and peppercorns also give it a nice kick to the mellow chocolate.
There aren’t very many flavors that can achieve what Read My Lips can, and I find myself craving it as I type..

Not as good as I had anticipated it to be.

Tasty. Not really chocolatey, but definitely minty. Added two teaspoons of tea, worried that the black would be strong, but it wasn’t. It was all mint. Think I might blend this with the stormy night blend.

I bought this on impulse as it was already packaged up and sitting by the register. It smells absolutely divine – very minty and chocolately. Other tea lovers were right, it smells like an After Eight! I love my mint teas to be really minty, so I’ll admit that I was a bit hesitant about the peppercorns. Well, upon drinking this tea, you definitely get the mint flavour, and a very subtle chocolate flavour. The peppercorns come in on the after taste. Very nice all around. An added bonus: you don’t need to add any sweetener!!

This one is definitely a tea that I plan to have in the cupboard at all times!

I got this tea because the girls at DavidsTea recommended it to me because I like chocolate teas. As promised, there is a strong taste of chocolate when you drink this tea. It’s very minty, it reminds me of a chocolate chip mint ice cream, but in tea form. The mint is very refereshing, and pairs well with the chocolate. I found this tea to be great hot or cold, but I like it best cold actually, especially as a dessert with a bit of sugar and cream. A must for any mint or chocolate fan!

Can you say wow? I don’t get wowed often but this tea does it for me every time. Iced or Hot. And great with milk. I can’t get tired of this one ever since David’s Tea opened. As you drink it, you can make out the chocolate more and more, but the minty-ness is always there. The black tea complements the whole very well. Buy some.

Tasty, cinnamon tea. Not my favourite, but very good.

This tea totally lives up to the hype. It is rich and delicious, and holds up to milk and sugar well. Even with quite a bit of sugar, it is less than 100 calories, with no fat, making it a much better option than a peppermint chocolate candy!

This is definitely a tea for the chocolate/mint lover. Not exactly what I was looking for given that peppermint is a tea I tend to avoid, but a fair tea nonetheless.

Despite a friend’s insistence that this tea is awesome, I’d been avoiding it, mostly because I don’t like chocolate-flavoured teas. This one is definitely tolerable, as the chocolate isn’t completely overpowering. The mint flavour hits me first. I had bought a little bag (20g) in a variety pack from David’s Tea, to give it a shot. I don’t think I’ll buy it again, but I’ll finish this bag.
