This was my first chocolate tea! I got it in the David’s tea advent calander :) I is really nice. I wasn’t expecting to like it, as I usually am not a huge fan of super sweet teas, but this one has converted me. The vanilla with peppermint is so good!

Making this tea is half the fun – bright red candy lips & little chocolate chips are just so cute to scoop along with tea leaves. The sweet aroma of this tea filled my kitchen while it was steeping, which was lovely, as I waited 10 minutes. I like my teas strong & this tea (perhaps because it is loose?) doesn’t seem to live up to that. It seems the 10+ minutes of steeping worked this time, as the tea was as wonderful as the day I bought it. Peppermint overlays vanilla & a hint of chocolate makes it heavenly.

This is my favourite Chocolate tea… and I have a LOT of different blends of chocolate tea.

I drank a lot of this over the summer, but stopped because I started drinking Chocolate Rocket. As soon as I opened the lid and smelled the wonderful minty chocolate tea, I remembered what I was missing.

Absolutely love this tea. In the cup it smells blissful and sweet and tastes best when steeped for a long time. I do have to say it smells a bit sweaty in the tin. Almost like wet towels or a dish cloth or something. Loved it none the less.

Sensory overload!

This was a nice, delicious and almost spicy cup. I just polished it off as I type this now. Unfortunately, the black tea taste is underneath the delicious chocolate, and peppermint tastes of the tea. Not necessarily a problem for most, but I wouldn’t mind being able to taste some of the base. Any chocolate mint fans looking for something to kick start their mornings will want a cuppa this.

Another advent calendar tea. I very much enjoyed this one. Tastes exactly like a mint slice biscuit, but without the guilt! A very enjoyable cup!

Day 1 of DavidsTea advent calendar!

I’m worried that I may have made the tea a bit too weak, but am enjoying it nonetheless. The tea smells like melty mints — a scent that reminds me of Christmas, though not in a traditional sense.

The mint and chocolate come through strongest in the taste as well, though I wish that everything were stronger. There’s a lovely hint of sweetness due to the candy, but the tea doesn’t come across as sweet — this more counters any bitterness that could otherwise appear.

Hopefully a stronger brew will enhanse this tea, but it certainly doesn’t taste bad weak either.

There’s definitely some chocolate in this tea! (I would know… I ate one of the chocolate chips, just to make sure they were actually chocolate chips!)

I’m a huge choco-mint lover, and I do believe this tea does it justice. The aroma is delightful, but the flavor isn’t as strong as it smells. I might consider brewing more of it next time I have it, but it’s still good when subtle, too.

That tea is my first “chocolate tea”. I wasn’t sure at first (even if it was a favourite of every DAVIDsTEA fan…), the description wasn’t appealing to me…And plus, i didn’t like every black tea i tried before so i thought black tea wasn’t for me.
Well, i don’t like to say that but…..I WAS WRONG!
I love this tea! It tastes like chocolate, mint, candy, all of this in the same cup. It’s the Perfect cup to drink in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening in front of the fireplace! :)

A great tea, I love the mint and chocolate together. Makes for a good just before bed tea. I love those red lips!!!

I love mint tea, and with the chocolate added to it this tea is like heaven! At first it tastes like chocolate and then you get that awesome minty taste. This is my feel-good tea.

Love this tea!

I was a bit skeptical at first, I don’t mind the combination of chocolate and mint, but it isn’t my favourite either. I had no reason to worry, this went way beyond my expectations! It makes a great substitute for hot chocolate on a cool day (and the calorie difference is a bonus!) and has a great, smooth taste.

I only have enough left for one more up :( I’ll definitely need to place an order soon!

Really liked this tea but was hoping it’d taste a bit more like chocolate since the description said “world’s best chocolate tea”. I still really enjoyed it :)

This is by far my favorite tea at the moment.
Especially if I have a chocolate craving!

And is it just me, but does anyone else agree that it smells and tastes EXACTLY like Aero chocolate???

It’s a onenight stand you cannot help but to go back to. It’s chocolate and mint and what a kiss should taste. You have a mug, you know you’ll have ten more in the evening. I can’t help myself. When I tasted it the first time I barely slept the night after because I had too much of this tea. You should be careful because it’s an addiction.

Just like sex.

I was skeptical about this one – but have to admit – it is certainly worth trying. Quite yummy. :)

I currently am KUH-RA-ZY about DavidsTea. Every time in my life that I find the slightest tiniest way to congratulate myself I run to their shop and treat myself to an amazing journey into the discovery of a new tea.
