Night Out

Fruit Herbal Blend by DAVIDsTEA

One magical tea
This herbal concoction contains ingredients that South American shamans use to induce vivid dreams. There’s oat straw and vitamin C, which clear your skin. Antibacterial olive leaf, to keep you healthy. Plus sarsaparilla, which is chemically similar to testosterone and is often promoted as a sex-drive enhancer. So whether you stay up or pass out, it’ll be an interesting night.

I really like this tea. I honestly forget on a regular basis how soothing and tasty this can be. I’ve never noticed any of the proferred side effects, but it’s just so nice. It’s not that it’s forgettable, it’s just that I don’t have a lot of call for soothing tea on a regular basis. Or at least not the time to enjoy it. Of all my David’s Teas I find this to be the most appley, and just YUM!

So, for my third or fourth (but final!) pot of tea for the day, the beau and I have chosen Night Out. This is a treat that we ration, since the tea was discontinued at some point in the fall when I wasn’t looking. We’ve got something in the ballpark of a half tin left, but this beauty packs a punch, so luckily we can be selfish and use only 1 or 2 teaspoons to a full pot.

As always it steeps up a pale pinkish shade, and has a delightful aroma and taste. I get an oatty sort of smell from the dry leaves, but I get a lot of apple flavour from the tea itself. Sort of a baked apple sort of taste. To an extent, this is what I wish David’s Tea’s Baked Apple tastes like.

Anyway, this pot only enhanced with time. Really delicious, though I have yet to truly experience the promised side effects. I think! : )

I poured myself a mug of this last night to sip in bed while watching a show on the laptop with the beau. All seemed innocuous enough until all of a sudden the show is over and I realize I fell asleep almost right away! At least I got a few sips in.

So…I am drinking the rest of it cold right now as my breakfast tea. : )

I wouldn’t like to credit the tea, but I did have some vivid dreams last night. Very weird ones..

My husband and I both really like this one! It’s pretty tasty. I generally dream a lot anyway, so I can’t say if it did anything for me, but he swears he’s had some vivid dreams after drinking this one!

I quite like this, although it makes me sleepy I do not get vivid dreams. I find it to be a relaxing tea.

Very pleasant taste. Just a hint of fruit and there’s something very cozy about it. It comes out this beautiful pinkish colour.
