From DAVIDsTEA

How it tastes: Rich black tea with a touch of creamy-sweet vanilla and a citrusy hint of bergamot.

Lovers of Earl Grey tea adore this creamy alternative to the original breakfast blend. You’ll recognize the same high-quality black tea, the same citrus burst of bergamot oil, the same beautiful grey-blue petals. However this version adds a touch of vanilla, and the result is an unexpectedly rich, creamy taste experience. Try it on its own or as a satisfying tea latte.

What makes it great:
• A vanilla twist on the classic Earl Grey.
• Amazing infused into desserts. Try adding a shot to your next custard.
• Makes a killer London Fog. Just add hot frothed milk and a bit of agave

Ingredients
Organic black tea*, Natural (cream, vanilla) flavouring, Organic marigolds, Organic bergamot flavouring, Cornflower petals.

This is my favourite tea. So creamy and rich. It is great on its own, although it is perfection with a bit of stevia and some milk. Amazing as a latte – tastes like a london fog.

Tried this tea a few months ago iced and didn’t like it very much. I’ll report back when I try it hot, though, since it seems to have gotten many great reviews.

Not bad, but not my favorite. I did a Early Grey Cream blind taste test with some coworkers the other day and compared to the other two being tested David’s was not as flavorful as the others.

While flavoured teas aren’t usually my thing, I’ve always had a soft spot for Earl Greys. In this case we’ve got a bog standard Earl Grey, albeit with vanilla overtones. It tastes very sweet, although there seems to be no added sweetener. If you sip and drink it slowly, it’s like swallowing molten vanilla ice cream. When drank quickly it tastes mostly of quality black tea with a touch of bergamot and vanilla extract.

The quality of the tea underneath these added flavours is quite high, I really do enjoy the tea itself, and the bergamot isn’t too powerful. The vanilla seems a tad over the top to me, but I did enjoy this cuppa nonetheless.

I wouldn’t buy a box of this to keep at home as I don’t see it as a tea I’d come to crave. That said, if I saw it available in a cafe I’d drink it every so often. I’ll probably grab a cup to drink next time I make a journey to DAVIDsTEA to buy some other teas to try.

Yum yum yum yum yum!!! Anyone who likes London Fogs needs to buy this tea! Making it hot in a cup and adding a bit of milk is freaking amazing however steeping it in steamed milk and making a london fog is absolutely to die for! The best part is because there is vanilla in the tea you don’t need to add the sugary vanilla syrup!

I recently ordered this wonderful tasting tea and my god is it ever delicious. I wish I ordered a 100g bag because 50g haven’t done me a week.

My first earl grey cream, and definitely not my last. The dry tea leaves smell like dessert, really.

Waiting for this tea to cool down from piping hot is crucial. Whenever I tried it straight out of the steeper, I always got a slightly astringent flavor from what I assumed was the black tea base. Be patient and the vanilla flavoring shines through, creating that creamy sensation.

Vanilla is the star in this tea. The bergamot is present but not loud. I’d also like to note that some days my cup had an inexplicable thin feeling. Other days it had good body, so I’m guessing I need to be careful not to underleaf. Going to check out other earl grey creams for sure.

This is one of my favourites as I’m generally crazy about Earl Grey. It makes a perfect afternoon or after a meal kind of a tea for me.
The vanilla is just enough and not overwhelming like some other Cream of Earl Grey blends out there. I also like the bergamot and that also feels like it is blended very moderately.

This is my favourite earl grey cream so far! I prefer this to Teavana’s earl grey creme, which almost tastes like regular earl grey to me (at least when compared to this one). I recently ordered some earl grey creme from another place, so I’ll see how it compares.

I got this in my little sample pack and thought “oh… too bad, I don’t like Earl Grey”… I left it for weeks and weeks sure that I would not like it. Well let me tell you I was so wrong. I loved it. It is creamy and sweet with a tiny bit of vanilla coming through. It is so good that I will be adding it to my permanent collection.
