A nice treat occasionally but one really has to pay attention to what you’re drinking and really savour it or its a bit of a waste – it doesn’t leave much of an impression if you are distracted with something and just want to drink something hot. Made of long, individual buds, it has beautifully delicate notes of fresh corn silk and white mushroom, and a surprising ability to linger and sweeten the palate. It’s both a tribute to the Chinese tradition and a serious challenge to the established masters.
