Long Life Oolong

Oolong Tea by DAVIDsTEA

Live long and prosper

Peach-scented oolong has long been popular in China – possibly because, in ancient legends, magical peaches were consumed by the gods to achieve immortality. The best way to make it? Place organic oolong in an airtight room with baskets of peaches to scent it. Then add peach and apricot
pieces, almond slices, orange peel and safflower petals. Immortality never tasted so sweet.

This is my favorite iced tea. The aroma of the dry tea leaves is spectacular and it tastes just as good! I can’t wait to try this one cold steeped. My 25g bag is almost finished and I don’t intend on buying more… yet. But it certainly gets me excited for spring-time. Peach!

It’s a good ooling tea, however I found the peach to be very mild. That might just be because I love peach and was expecting a huge punch of peach. But just overall, a very nice tea, and quite relaxing. For that reason I am still giving it a good rating and saying go ahead and try it. If you like peach, you’ll enjoy it.

This is the first Oolong Teas I have purchased. It was quite good but it was also pretty expensive. Likely wouldn’t purchase this one again.

So I bought 25 g of this and didn’t really love it. Iced was way better than cold for sure but today on the LAST bits i decided to throw in some soy milk with it while it was iced. It’s like a stroke of genius and soooo delicious I can’t even bear to throw away the leaves because I want to drink more and more. Might have to keep a little of this in my stash for those creamy, peachy days in the summer.

This is the second oolong tea that I have tried. During the first steep the fruity aromas were pretty strong. I nice peach smell… I wasn’t too sure what to expect – I found that it was a bit strong and I could have sweetened it but I didn’t. Today i steeped it again and have to say that I liked it the second time around better than the first!

Needed a break from the many, many chocolate teas I drink. The delicate peach flavouring is perfect.

Long life oolong…
What can I say, it is okay I guess.
It has a very deep fruity flavour, oh not to mention the beautiful smells.
But for the price of it, you use it up so quickly because it is so heavy the pieces of fruit and what not in it. So I would say not alot of bang for your buck.

This is not my cup of tea.

Very very fruity. It is also very very heavy, all the fruit pieces.
So you are paying alot for the fruit, not as much for the Oolong.
I do agree it is quite sweet, and relatively tasty, but not the bang for your buck.
If that isn’t your concern, it is alright, but FRUITY.

Smells great however, but not my cup of tea.

So I fiiiiinally got to try this tea, since my local David’s tea opened I’ve been trying to get a cup but I suppose its very popular because they always seem to be fresh out!
It was worth the wait, I enjoyed this tea so much!
Sort of fruity, very much a berry taste, but no enough to make it sickly.

Drank one with one spelda.

I really have to say, David’s own concoctions are almost always a disappointment at first. If I get teas like English Breakfast, Earl Grey, etc. you just can’t go wrong. But once I get their trademark teas – like long life oolong…

Well, moving on. This tea isn’t very good. hot. maybe it would be better chilled… But I say this from my experience with McNulty’s (in NYC) where I got myself a Nectar tea for just under $5, and it tasted exactly the same. There really isn’t anything special about this I find, you just taste peaches.

Peach is good. Tea is good. But nothing all that special from David’s.

again,
very typical tea with a very typical/ordinary flavour
There are better ways to spend the money I did i.e. on teas that are cheaper
but taste of peaches.
But if not being economical like me – it’s a good tea for taste.

Got this as a sample with my DT order. I loved the peachy smell of it, but I think I’m just not a fan of oolong at all.

This is not an every day tea because of its richness but a wonderful treat and will always be re-stocked when empty.

Yummy Yum! Peach an apricot tea is absolutely amazing! It is a bit on the sweeter side however if you are in the mood for something sweet then it is the perfect thing to enjoy. I love drinking tea after dinner and this one makes me feel like I am having desert without all the calories.

Black tea. With peaches. What else could you ask for? This tea is the second best (only to pumpkin chai) breakfast tea out there.

This peach-scented oolong is probably my favourite DT out there. Whenever I brew it at work my colleagues always comment on the strong peach scent (in a good way). I really like oolong teas and even though this one has a ton of fruit in it, I don’t find that it takes away from the oolong flavour. The second infusion is MUCH much better than the first, so don’t forget to steep it twice.

One of my first oolong teas. I love the combination of peach and almond! It’s a great morning tea when you want something to help perk you up! I will be getting more!

Yum yum yum! Possibly my all time favorite flavoured oolong. Great fresh taste that remained after 2 steepings. Smells and tastes fantastic!

I enjoyed this tea very much. The sweetness of the peach is very satisfying but not overwhelming. That blended with the oolong makes for a fantastic tea. It is also amazing as an iced tea, I found it tasted like those fuzzy peaches candy. Delicious!
