It is true that this tea has a little creamy taste combined with a lime flavour. I thought that if I added agave it would taste even more like gelato, but it was better without. It’s good but i’m not hooked.

This tea isn’t bad at all. I can taste the lime well and a bit of yogurt. I’d say it’s better warm than hot. It’s also pretty good as an iced tea.

This smells and tastes just like key-lime pie. I picked up a 10g bag of this and have only had 1 cup so far. It has really strong citrus notes. I believe that it may also be good iced.

From a sample packet provided with an online order. Lime Gelato is very light and feels just like a creamy treat. It also tastes and smells exactly like one, smoothing so many incredible flavors together. It’s not too sweet either, I never felt as if a few bulldozers of sugar had plowed their way over my cup.

Refreshing and pleasant, tart yet milky. I am sure this would make an outstanding summer beverage over ice.

Ah- this tea is really, really great. I usually drink it in the summer iced, and it’s a nice treat once in a while.
It tastes so much like lime jello, but smoother. It really is fantastic.

This tea smells soooooo good. Like ice cream and candy. I almost want to just eat it. It tastes just as good! I brewed it for the allotted time, and then stuck it in the fridge until I was ready to drink it. (usually brew then put my tea in the fridge/freezer for cold drinks)
The lime is not bitter, its sweet and it actually has a bit of a green tea after taste to it. Very refreshing, and great for a hot summer day.

This one is much like advertised. Lime and cream with some green tea kick.

I like how the flavour flows. It comes through immediately rather than on the aftertaste. I find that the creaminess doesn’t come through on a cold steep. So steep hot first and flash freeze is the best for me when I want this one cold.

Lime Gelato is one of the most delicious teas I have ever tasted. Lightly tart with a slightly creamy taste. Fantastic iced as well. Definately worth tasting.

I’m excited for the warmer weather to turn this tea into an iced drink. It literally tastes like you’re eating lime gelato, minus all the calories! For anyone with a sweet tooth and a thing for gelato, it’s a must. Don’t be afraid to put some honey in either!

This tea is really amazing. Tastes just as good as it smells. Which is outstanding. I definitely recommend this tea.

It actually tastes like it smells! I love when teas do that! Definitely makes me think of key lime pie. I was surprised by the lemongrass – although I thought I didn’t like it in tea, the flavour is definitely noticeable in this tea but it fits in perfectly and deliciously. Yum. My to-re-buy list is getting quite long now…. (although variety is good, right?!)

Brewed this one up to compare to Lemon-Lime Kukicha, since I had an available infuser and was curious :D

The aroma is pretty similar to Lemon-Lime Kukicha, nice and limey and creamy. I’m getting a bit less of a key lime pie association though. Also, the flavour is definitely different (smoother, creamier, less tangy citrus), and I think I actually prefer this to the 52teas blend, perhaps mostly because of that bit of bitterness I was getting.

Yum, I hadn’t had this one in quite a while. Definitely need to cold-brew/ice some of it soon!

ETA: Second infusion is even limier, and still smooth, although I’d hesitate to say creamy. I wonder if the lemongrass is making more of an appearance? Yum.

Cold-brewed some of this last night (I’m a hot cup away from a sipdown now! Hurrah!) but I fear that my batch has gone “off”. My tastebuds don’t quite remember how this one used to taste, but the aroma from my tin (yes, it’s one of the very few I actually have in a tin!) is quite pungent and sharp… in a lemony sort of way. So it didn’t smell bad, but didn’t smell as I remembered either. Same deal with the flavour – it’s very tart and lemony, like the lemongrass is taking over or something. I have probably had this stuff for about a year, so it’s entirely possible that something has happened to it. I’ll pick up some more eventually! And… I’m totally still going to drink it. I just may need to make a sugar syrup or something…

Re-steeped (cold-brew) the leaves from my hot-brew-and-chill from yesterday, and got a lovely lightly limey cup. Delicious for the drive around Kitchener-Waterloo to pick up Blueberry Jam and some tea from Teaopia!

Ahhhh, delicious. I just wish this one had some real caffeine in it (there’s not enough tea to count). My cup is sweet, creamy, and limey today. I usually prefer this one iced, but it’s amazing warm as well. Definitely one that I hope is never discontinued!

Hot brewed and chilled, but I diluted it a bit too much. Re-steeping the leaves in cold water.

Cold-brewed some of this in the fridge for a couple days, and… it’s fantastic!! Can’t remember what my leaf-to-water ratio was… possibly 4 heaping 1/2 tsps to 10 oz? I’ll have to try again and make a better note next time.

A bit sweet, limey, and quite refreshing. The only downside is a bit of a chemical-y aftertaste, which I recall from drinking this one hot as well. It’s still pretty good though :)

The smell is mouthwatering steeped or dry.
So refreshingly light.
Fantastic non-sugary sweetness with a generous hit of tartness.
Tastes like Lime Gelato.
Can cure a sweet tooth as well as Goji Pop,however has more of a sourness from the Lime that makes it a totally different experience that lingers on the tongue long after you’ve finished drinking it.

I cannot wait to try this iced.

I never thought Green Tea could taste this nice and light without any promise of bitterness.Truly ingenious.

Yes, this tea is amazing. Limes are one of my favourite flavours in the world, and this tea tastes as wonderful as it smells! It would be wonderful iced, but I haven’t tried it that way yet. I’m sure I will come summer, though. ;)

The lime agave syrup sticks enhance the flavour of this tea VERY nicely, too.

Highly recommend! _

Lime Gelato, you were one of my first summer teas with Davids, and still are one of my favourites. Hot or cold, you are not too strong, not too mild. This summer I’m definitely going to try mixing in some of you brewed and turned into an ice with some french vanilla ice cream. I think that will be utter paradise.

This tea is still finicky with me. When you get it right, it is awesome but when you get it wrong, you are left with . . . something resembling tea. I took a bit off a friend’s hands who had given up on it and am drinking it up tonight. It is too finicky for me to buy again, though.

I’m so in love with that tea…it tastes like heaven! These days, it’s on my Top 3! I drink at least one cup every day! If you feel the urge to eat some ice cream, this tea would be the best for you.

That tea is so sweet! But be careful with the infusion (too hot water or too long infusion can create a little aftertaste cause of the green tea leaves).

And by the way, the first time i smelled that tea, i decided that it didn’t smell as good as La La Lemon and i didn’t buy it. Thanks to my friend Oreole21 who convinced me to try it! Haha!

I know….again….i have almost 30 teas (or maybe more?!) and i drink this one all the time but…there is nothing i can do, it’s wonderful! lol

I’ve never had this one hot – somehow, I just don’t think I’d like that much.

But iced? Yeah! Let’s do it!

I brewed it hot, and then cooled the liquor down in the fridge over night. Anticipation makes the heart grow fonder? Or something like that.

This has a very smooth lime flavour – not tart at all. And the yogurt adds a creamy body that is quite lovely. It’s a refreshing drink indeed! Very reminiscent of gelato.

But, once I’ve had a glass or two, I’m kind of done with it for a while. It’s not the kind of tea I’d want to drink every day. Now it’s just for sunny afternoons when I remind myself that I have a whole 100g to drink before it goes stale!

Yummy. This tea is my new favourite. I even bought a tin of this one without trying it in the hopes it would be amazing. I was not dissapointed. It has a sweet flavour to it and that is something I am looking for in some teas these days. They replace dessert that way for no calories.

The colour is quite light and I was worried that it would be a really light tea but you get lots of flavour bang for your buck. It is a nice subtly tea without the Bang of Lime of Lime Bang. Very tasty. I will need to refill my tin before this one goes away. Apparently it will be around until the end of summer at least. Yay.

Today is rainy and blah so I decided to keep this as a hot cup of tea even though it is screaming to be iced. I know people might be hesitant to drink this hot, but it’s really good! Really warm, sweet, and creamy. Really nice.

I have never tried lime bang or any of the other lime teas from DT, but I really like this one. It kind of reminds me of Dreamsicle for the creamy and sweet factor, but it’s pulled off way better. I really hope they keep this one around – I think i’ll be craving it from time to time.

I’d recommend steeping this for at least 3 minutes to really bring out the flavor. I love the smell of this tea! Its reminiscent of lemon meringue pie without the taste being too sweet. This tea would complement desserts quite well, or you can drink it casually if you’re looking for something light with a sweet, tarty aroma.
