Carrot Cake, Carrot Cake lay down your wings
Let me taste your incredible things
Be you spicy or be you sweet
Carrot Cake, Carrot Cake will be my treat

This blend smells more fruity than carrot or spice like, not what I expected. Mixed dried fruit with a light wooden base.

Burnt orange in colour with a vanilla fruit scent, still not getting carrot cake.

Flavour is mild and nutty with a creamy, sweet after taste and some dryness. Not as fruity tasting as it smells and not spicy or carrot enough for it to be carrot cake, more like a light nut cake. Nuts are generic, nothing specific. Sweetness is like vanilla though mild.

It doesn’t taste like carrot cake :( though it’s nice enough for me to finish my cup. Such a shame, been craving carrot lately and I was hoping this would aid me well. Adding the rest of this to my trade pile.

It could be :) This one was written more poem style than song so it’s open to interpretation.

I love this tea! I miss it and I contacted David’s Tea requesting that they bring back Carrot Cake Oolong. I would have this one for breakfast every morning and it felt like starting my day with a treat.

Well, first of all, if you’re expecting this tea to taste like carrot cake, you will be quite disappointed. But hey, we can’t expect too much all the time; it was a good effort!

Honestly, I was expecting there to be at least some nutmeg, cinnamon or cloves, pecans or walnuts because isn’t that what goes in carrot cake? Also, this tea is an oolong tea, but you would never know. It looks and tastes like it has a black tea base.

It kind of tastes like watery carrots hmmm with some sweetness from the apples and coconut. I drank a cup of it this morning and added a splash of milk and a pinch of sugar. Usually I drink my tea STRAIGHT ALL THE TIME NO EXCEPTIONS, but this morning I was feeling impulsive. So, while acting on my impulse, I was thinking about what to write about this tea. I concluded that with the added milk and sugar, it was better, creamier and it compliments all the flavors in the tea :)

So I’ll leave you with this: go try it before it’s gone! It’s worth it ;)

I didn’t know DAVIDStea could make a bad blend until I tried this one! Firstly, I was given a 100g tin from a friend for FREE because she hated it. At the time, I was shocked because every DT product had been so delicious. Well, I was wrong. Dead wrong. This tea tastes like potpourri or perfume. Ack. I kept it on hand when I was out of my more preferred blends, but every time I tried it, I was still utterly disappointed.

Don’t waste your dollars on this tea. Get Pumpkin Chai instead :D

I actually really like this tea a lot. I mean, I wouldn’t list it in my top ten or anything, but I think it’s about as carrot cake-y as a cup of tea can ever be expected to be. Spicy and sweet-ish, this is great on gloomy Fall days.

I had high hopes for this tea. Smells nice in the bag, but the taste is just alright. The aftertaste leaves the flavor of carrot cake better than the tea itself does. The artificial flavoring is pretty noticeable.

Weird, but good – can’t do this one too often.

I keep thinking this will taste sweeter than it does. Perhaps its the ‘cake’ in the name. Really pleasant tea, soft notes of carrot and spice, but not really sweet.

I really like this. Its quite a different flavour, with the carrots, and it smells a little odd dry, but I really like it!
