Sleigh Ride

Fruit Herbal Blend by DAVIDsTEA

Falling snow, popping chestnuts, cold hands and noses…yep, winter has arrived. But don’t worry, we have the perfect tea to warm you up all December long. Cinnamon, apples, raisins, almonds, and hibiscus combine for a tea that is sweet, tart, and earthy. And beet pieces make it as nice and rosy as a caroler’s cheeks. So hop in your sleigh, snuggle up, and pass a thermos around. It’s lovely weather for a Sleigh Ride together.

Ingredients: Apple, hibiscus blossoms, candied pineapple, candied papaya, beetroot, cinnamon, raisins, coconut, roasted almonds, popped rice, artificial flavouring.

When I went to the store I smelled this tea and was confused because I had come into the store to replenish my Forever Nuts stash. It’s basically a fancier, winterier version of Forever Nuts. Really yummy, resteeped great, and relaxed me so well the other night that I was falling asleep while drinking it.

I loved the smell of this, which is why I purchased it but the flavour is a little sour to me. Adding sweetener did not help either. Not my fav from the holiday collection.

This a great tea also. I love the cinnamon/apple flavour to this tea. There’s something so warm and comforting about this tea.

The popped rice in this one kinda ruins it for me, that’s all I could smell and taste.

The first day my DavidsTea store got their shipment of Sleigh Ride (Tea of the month for Dec), I couldn’t resist a taste. I was told it is a mixture of Kanpe and Forever Nuts, but to me it is very much like a sweet, nutty apple cider of sorts. It is absolutely festive, but I can imagine drinking it all year round, and can picture it being wonderful on ice.

Any lover of a fruity or nutty herbal tea – definitely give this limited edition a try! So good, so so good.
