From DAVIDsTEA

To the rescue

Are you in desperate need of a little pick-me-up? Then this looks like a job for Superberry. It’s a sweet and fruity blend of black tea, juniper berries, blueberries and açai powder. There’s a lot of buzz going around about açai berries, a so-called South American “superfruit.” But unlike most health food, these actually taste amazing. All in all, they make for a delicious tea that will pep you up faster than a speeding bullet. (MK Kosher)

Ingredients: Organic: black tea, juniper berries, rosehips, blueberries, acai powder, safflower petals, natural flavouring*.

First time trying this tea as well. Needed a good morning pick me up and this did the trick, delicious! I was a little worried about a black tea and berries as I am not a person that enjoys fruit in my black tea. I was surprised. Glad I tried it.

I got this one as a tea to go the other day. It’s been on my hit list for a while now and I’m so glad I tried it because it was absolutely delicious! To compare it to another tea from David’s I think it is very similar to Prairie Berry however, I do find it to be a bit more sour. I would highly recommend this tea!

I first tried this tea because it has a very enticing smell. I am a big fan of acai, and this tea is full of it. Not the best hot, but so lovely iced because of it’s strong, fruity flavour. It tastes healthy, try it iced with some agave!

Decent berry tea. Not much to say about it for now. Reminds me of blueberry jam (I like blueberry jam more) but more packed with other BERRY like scents.

It is ok (came out at the same time as Blueberry Jam, which I love!)

hooah! this one smells so sweet it’s giving me a headache!
i really should be reviewing it when i’m more in the mood for a sweet, fruity tea, but i have all these new black teas to try and i figured a marathon taste test was in order (so, staring with the one that is disagreeing with me the most…)
yeah, such a sweet smell. i’m guessing it’s the acai powder.
i’m thinking it would be nice iced though. and as they’ve released it just in time for summer, i bet that’s what they were intending.
oh very surprising! it doesn’t taste even 1/4 as strong as it smells! it’s pretty nice actually, though i can’t say i think the black tea was a good choice. it’s somewhat overpowering in the aftertaste, coming through a bit bitter after those sweet, sweet berry scents.
i don’t know, it’s okay i guess. what a weird one! i probably won’t buy it again, but i’ll finish the cup.
